Killua is an overprotected kid. His parents never allowed him to leave the huge mansion he lived in. Due to this he decided to find the way to be free even if he was trapped in his room: internet.
He has an account in every social network; facebook, twitter, Myspace… but his favorite website was this forum from the Hunter Association. Most of his friends were from this website: Kurapika, Leorio, Bisky and specially his best friend, Gon.
Gon and Killua meet around four years ago, they didn’t have anything in common beside the fact that both were twelve years old. But that simple detail was enough to start a conversation, and that conversation lead to another and that lead to other, at some point both were chatting everyday talking about anything and everything. At some point, chatting wasn’t enough, Killua needed to see Gon’s face, he needed to listen his voice.
A year later, when both boys were thirteen, they decided to make the first video call. In the moment Killua saw Gon’s face, he knew he was in love with the boy. Gon was gorgeous, his brown eyes were so pure, and his laugh was like a melody. In the moment Killua saw Gon’s face on the screen, he knew he was screwed. Gon lived in this little island in the middle of the Ocean on the other hand Killua lived in a huge mansion hide in a mountain in Padokia. Oh god bless his family and all the killing crap. While Gon was blessed with a good family and a dad with an amazing job, Killua had a fabulous family of assassins, hell yeah.
Killua doesn’t have any dreams or aspirations in life, but he was sure of what he didn’t wanted to do, he didn’t want to be the heir of the family business and he didn’t wanted to live without Gon. Even if it was just a few minutes or hours and hours until dawn, whenever he and Gon talked was enough to make his day better, to make him smile. Gon was his light, his sun, no matter how much Illumi and his family pushed him until his limits, Gon will always be there, he’ll be the light at the end of the tunnel.
That’s why Killua decided to run away, even if he wasn’t sure where Whale Island was, he just wanted to be free, no, he just wanted to be with Gon.
He thought about asking Alluka for help, but he didn’t like the idea of using his sister like his family does, that was just wrong. Instead he decided to do it all by himself, looking for plane tickets, boats or anything that could take him to Whale Island. And Gon of course was oblivious to all of this, he didn’t know much about Killua’s private life, his friend was really reserved about his family and the family business, Gon only knew it was something with Mafia’s and lots of money and the fact that Killua completely despise it, maybe the Zoldyck’s were narcos…
He lived a peaceful life at Whale Island, the animals and the ocean was all he needed until he meet Killua. It was a mere coincidence, Gon wasn’t exactly what you would call a fan of the technology and things like computers or video games weren’t his fort. But sometimes when he was really bored he would stay at home playing with his old laptop, the day he meet Killua was one of this days. He was bored and tired so he decided to chill at home. He was in one of the Hunter Association forums, most specifically in the chat room, he knew some people like Leorio or Kurapika or that creepy old man that was banned from the forums a few days after that, Tompa was his name?
That day people wasn’t really active but between all those names in the chat room, Killua’s was the one that seemed different, almost ridiculous because ‘KittyKilluaLadyKiller' was almost too funny to be true. Not so long after that Killua write a private message.
‘hey, how old are you? ‘
Gon never thought that those words will lead him to his best friend. Killua either.
But now four years later he can’t even imagine his life without the albino, even if he was just some random guy he meet in the internet. Both were so close and at the same time so far away. Gon hated that. Your friends are supposed to always be by your side but Killua was literally at the other side of the world. But anyway if he was sad or feeling tired Killua was there to cheer him up, in his own way but still. It was mostly Gon’s work to cheer Killua up. Poor kid was always tired or covered in bruises and still calling or texting Gon every night always pulling the same lame excuses. But Gon didn’t care about that, he was happy with Killua talking to him every night even if it was selfish.
Both were young stupid and in love.
One night Killua suddenly woke up in the middle of the night, it was dark and one name was inked in his brain “Gon” he whispered just before he broke down on tears, that night he realized how afraid he really was of losing his friend. Two days later Killua run away from home.
It took him almost a month to get to Whale Island. The place was literally in the middle of nowhere. But when he saw his friend’s island he knew it worth it, Gon worth it.
His friend was waiting for him at the port and when Killua saw Gon’s huge smile his heart melt. The camera doesn’t make him justice and when Killua go off the ship and Gon run to him tackle him in a hug his heart started to race.
Both hearts were racing so fast. Both were so nervous but excited.
After that Gon take Killua to his house where aunt Mito was waiting. After that everything went good. Both teens having fun and talking nonstop until dawn just like they used to do online, but now it was real, it was face to face and everything seemed so unreal. Almost like a dream.
One of those days both guys were around the lake, fishing.
“ne, Killua I like you” Gon said casually with a smile
“Stupid! Don’t say that things out loud, it’s embarrassing”
“but Killua I really like you, I mean it“ at this words he got no response from the albino but a tomato face “Killua, say something“ Nothing “Killua, don’t you like me back? Ne Killua are yo-” Gon word’s were shushed by Killua’s lips pressed against his, just a peck. But that was enough for both of them.
Where’s Gon’s island? In the middle of nowhere. But it definitely worth the effort.

oh noo dont worry about it i mean awakening is definitely very heavily marriage/romance-based especially since they brought back the two-generations thing, so i dont blame anyone for understanding shipping as a huge part of it. and it is nice to have the power to basically make your ships bond w/ each other, even self-insert LOL so its no wonder
as for the older fes there is still romance, you can still go for romantic supports but it doesnt have as much an impact as it does in awakening (like itll change what ending each character gets at the very end of the game, most the old FEs didnt have second generation so marriage wasnt as important and you could choose to completely ignore romantic supports if you wanted).
but now that i think about it i never went for the romantic supports when i first started playing either haha so i cant speak much about them for sure
theres a lot that bothers me abt the marriage system i could talk for Days but im just hoping in fe14 that i at least wont have to sit through 500 heteromances in order to get the whole story

Oh man thank you!! Yeah I’ve found that even just recording from my phone is a better quality than recording on my laptop, so I’ll just record like that for the now! I hope the final thing is good too ahhh!!!

Looool thank you Isu! :’) tbh the main reason why I’ve faded it out before was because of the background static, I thought it sounded less jarring to fade it... but now I don’t need to do that anymore! Hooray!!
