In class (English teaching here sucks) we were told that it was just for men. Like, it wouldn't even be grammatically correct to use it in any other situation -in Spanish all the words are gendered so it didn't sound weird.
Then I went to read Pride and Prejudice (again, yes, don't judge me, I had a bad morning) in English for the first time, and there was a "what a handsome lady" or something like that and was like WHATTT
Now I want to punch my English teacher. Or like, add another punch to the long list she deserves. Dammit.

Would you want to write canon for any of your fandoms (like be hired by showrunner to do an episode)? Which one?
There are so many things that I’d love to write canon for, but I think the Authority might have been one of the few fandoms where anything I wrote could conceivably fit or be allowed. They’re long gone though.
Does font matter to you when you’re writing a draft?
I develop a twitch if it’s not in Times New Roman.
If you could go back and revise one of your older stories, which would it be?
All of them? No really, I’d go back and absolutely gut all of them, which is why I try not to, because some people like them as they are, and I can’t guarantee I wouldn’t ruin them if I went back and tried to revise them.
Do you make up scenes at work/on the bus/at the gym? Who are the characters that pop up the most? Do you write them down?
I tend to come up with OC stuff at work, though occasionally I’ll have a Batclan brainwave while sweeping, which is a little odd. I’ll write them down if they’re worth anything, but they usually aren’t.
