Although, it’s no such secret that his father’s death has taken a toll on him, that he pictures ghosts & shadows in his shape, tries to make up for it, though as flimsily as those figures are. His tone betrays, as well as squared shoulders do & the hand that he runs through his hair to push it back hides unsteady fingers. A sigh, as if he’s cast off but a jump scare. ❝ It’s nothing, after all. ❞
