Dragons and Beasts at the Singapore Zoo

Mythical Dragons and Beasts have descended upon Singapore Zoo for the Christmas season. Since it was the school holidays, my nieces had the time to accompany me to venture into the realms of myths and legends. 

One of the star attractions this season is the Valley of Myths where visitors can get up close and personal with towering dragons, unicorns, griffins and other mythical creatures inspired by various cultures around the world.

Visitors can participate in a series of challenges to win exclusive collectible Dragon and Unicorn pins.

After exploring Dragons and Beasts, it was time to hit the trail and have lots of fun taking quirky photos with our animal friends.

Besides exploring the attractions, my nieces had a lot of fun attending the various shows scattered throughout the day.

1st Show: Rainforest Fights Back featuring a diverse range of rainforest animals. The show was entertaining and educational, reminding audience members to play an active role in the conservation and preservation of our environment. 

2nd Show: Elephant Presentation featuring three fun-loving, majestic elephants which aims to foster and convey conservation awareness.

3rd Show: Splash Safari Show featuring the zany antics of a mischievous California sea lion which kept the audience at the edge of their seats.

Although it rained heavily in the late afternoon, it did little to dampen our spirits and we still had a fun time at the Singapore Zoo.
