I have one of those little flippy toys? The half-sphere rubber things that you invert, put on a flat surface and watch them fly? If you invert them and hold onto them, they make a pretty quiet noise.

You should watch Leverage! It has strong, well-rounded, relatable female characters, totally passes the Bechdel test, and is utterly awesome. it is also on Netflix in its entirety.

Granted, it's not sparks-it's a slow burning ember. It does hurt if you bump the burny part, though. Thankfully, most of them do have a small bit that won't burn.

Embers aren't QUITE as bad as sparks or flame. Still kinda freaky but not quite as bad for me.

During the last couple weeks of summer my stepmom usually takes me shopping if I need anything, so I do have that oversight, but I also utterly hate clothes shopping, especially because girl-section clothes don’t have a standard sizing thing!

The "male" section gets most of the shirts I like best but my grandma shops for me only in the "female" section. I wish she'd get my shirts from the "mens" and my pants from the "womens" that'd be great, But I don't really like clothes shopping and I'm in the closet so meh whatever I guess, free clothes anyway. I normally just don't give a shit what she buys me because as long as it's comfortable enough I'll wear it be it a dress or a tshirt and sweatpants I really don't care so long as I'm comfy and the clothes don't say anything offensive. But there's only two places where I draw a line on what clothes are ALWAYS unnacceptable- turtlenecks, and FUCKING PANTS WITHOUT POCKETS

Which is why I never buy jeans without front and back pockets.

Well my grandma does a fuckton more shopping than me so she buys me clothes all the time and normally I'm cool with most of the stuff she gets me but I will NEVER understand why she refuses to check pants that she buys me to make sure they have pockets. I'm really grateful she clothes shops a lot for me because I don't like shopping, but seriously, "make sure the pants have pockets" is literally like the only request I give her for clothes shopping for me and she STILL never checks for pockets
