while dealing with evil dragons and evil queens remember that they like to bite
Sooo made these mood board...things for an AU crossover for Hetalia Cardverse.
So, these characters are from a book series, called the Dark Hunters...or technically Were-Hunters. Bride being the mate of Vane Kattalakis, and she is totally human. Channon is the mate of Sebastian Kattalakis...a Dragon Arcadian. Anyway, these two in the AU I am writing up...maybe for a Cardverse account, were the ruling King and Queen of Spades before Alfred and Arthur.
When both were in their early teens, so fourteen, they had been summoned from their world (out World) and brought to the land of the Cards. They had been marked for the roles of King (Bride) and Queen (Channon). As they tried to figure out things, the two always wanted to go back home but their hearts began to become attached to their roles, the land and each other....
Bride was named the Direwolf, because she matured into a fierce King who would spill blood before she let any enemy conquer her. In this land she inherited the mark, or touch, of Kronos and could convert energy into magic by ‘eating’ the life force of people. She decided this because she felt it unfair to just ...have sex with Channon to recharge her magic like the roles dictated. The wolf became her symbol, and she was known to go into battle with two swords and often dressed in ‘masculine attire’
Channon became the Dragonswan and realized that she had a knack for performing magic thanks to her Queen mark. As the Queen she was like a well of magical energy, and began to experiment with casting spells...she had a urge to befriend or commune with dragons, and so that was what she did...using her power she became a friend of dragons, and in turn people gave her the nickname ‘Dragonswan’.
11. Trapped in a closet & DragonSwan
Desperate to keep Mal from giggling, Emma clapped her hand over the other woman’s mouth and clamped down. Her grip was tight but not deadly--although part of her thought she ought to murder her girlfriend. There was no way they were going to escape this encounter alive if Mr. Gold found them huddling in his armoire, so she was willing to sacrifice Mal for her own well being.
She listened to the footsteps creaking around the room and closed her eyes. Her eyes popped open again as one of Mal’s hands came around to cup her breast. She resisted the urge to smack the appendage away, as doing so would only make more noise. She bit down on her cheek to keep from making any noise, even as Mal tweaked her nipple through her loose tank top and bra.
It was decided. She was going to kill Mal, and nobody would ever find the remains. She’d done it before, really, if she thought about it. She’d flung her sword, destroyed the dragon, and so on. Really, it was a shame that Mal had come back. She sucked in a deep breath as Mal’s hand slipped under her shirt, slid up her stomach, and got a bit more personal with her chest.
Finally, the footsteps faded away. Emma sprawled out of the dresser and onto the floor, with Mal coming to land atop her. Mal nuzzled her neck and tittered, while she fought to regain her composure.
“You could have gotten us caught!”
“Mm,” Mal replied, taking a small nip at the tender flesh along Emma’s throat. “Just adds a little excitement, doesn’t it?”

Daily Quotes #235 "Well, I would turn into a dragon and fly you home, but something tells me you would protest." "No doubt. I imagine the scales would also chafe my skin." "True. Not to mention, I once learned the hard way that they really do call the military out on you. You know, fighter jets are hard to dodge when you have a forty-foot wingspan." - Sebastian & Channon

Daily Quotes #234 "Tell me, Channon," he said suddenly, "do you like teaching?" "Some days. But it's the research I like best. I love digging through old manuscripst and trying to piece together the past." He gave a short, half laugh. "No offense, but that sound incredibly boring." "I imagine dragon slaying is much more action-oriented." "Yes, it is. Every moment is completely unpredictable." - Sebastian & Channon
