The Pokémon World is one full of many vibrant cultures, some vastly distinct from one another. One lesser travelled is Ransei, home to Daiya Hi. Daughter of the current leader of the Ignis Kingdom, Daiya has always been the fascinated with the world beyond Ignis, and has been allowed by her father to join the ranks of the Goldenbeak Academy to understand it better.

Travelling to Whitewood Island with her childhood Pokémon Charmander, Daiya was quickly awed by all she has seen, whether it be the rite known as the Pokémon Battle, the sight of new Pokémon she could not have dreamed of, or even simply the friend she's made while their, including Paige and Quinn. Though overwhelmed at first, she has managed to get her bearings in this strange new place.

During her time at Whitewood, Daiya has not only tried to make new friends with her classmates, but also with Pokémon. Indeed, the first Pokémon she befriended was rather a cuddlesome Dratini, and though she had heard of them from tales of other Kingdoms in Ransei, she was shocked to discovered that most Dratini aren't actually pink. She soon after caught a Gible that had been raiding the pantry of the Goldenbeak Academy, and has taken to caring it, if only to stop it from devouring all of the food in the Academy. It is starting look like Daiya is starting to be a beacon for Dragon-types.

Since graduating, Daiya has been unsure of what to do next. Her father has allowed her to continue her journey to find her path, but there's so many options. Perhaps she could play to her strengths and prepare her team to take on the gyms of the Akkadios regions. Perhaps she could look into the Pokedex problem and discover even more new Pokémon. Thankfully, she's got some time to think about it, as she has joined her friends in spectating the Pokémon World Tournament. Who knows, maybe this will inspire her direction.

What does the Mirror Wings Talent do? Does it quite literally just give the user reflective wings?

Yep. They also reflect attacks back on their user, but that's what mirrors do.
