Here's how snaters basically ruined Draigcon

In June I went to Draigcon in Manchester (it was very fun, and if any of y'all are in the area I heavily recommend) but any who, Benedict Clarke, who played young Snape in Deathly Hallows part two (or so Google tells me), ended up cancelling.

He didn't post anything about it, claiming he was busy, but there was so much hate. Like, people were claiming if he went they would return their tickets, which yes isn't that bad but still upsetting.

And idk man maybe he was genuinely busy or some shit but like, why have you got to do that? Like, don't hate on an actor because you don't like the character they played?

The guy who played young James also ended up cancelling, and I'm pretty sure that's because all of his fans were being so nasty to someone he acted with.

Either way, I get it you guys don't like Snape. You can hate him all you fucking want, but do not give actors hate because of who they played. And I would even understand you giving Rickman hate, you know, he was the "bad Snape" (being a death eater and all that jazz) but Clarke just played this innocent Snape who just wanted to be with his friend, like there is nothing to hate.

Basically fuck off and keep your hate inside your house and off the internet because no one wants to fucking see it.

I can’t believe this is the first time I’m posting about this or adding pictures, but I’m really self conscious about having photos taken of myself.

But last October I went to my first ever convention, and it was a small fan run Harry Potter convention in Manchester. I was a little nervous at first but I had a brilliant day. I didn’t get many autographs or photos. But I did get a couple.

I’ve now met Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) and Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood), and here are the photos and autographs. I also got some selfies with Chris.
