Name: Drew Strider
Hometown: Virbank Town (Unova)
Specialist Type: N/A
Given how spread out across the Akkadios Region Team Decept are, it's no wonder some of these roleplayers have strode their way into the Pokémon World Tournament. Drew Strider... well, she doesn't really seem to care too much about the roleplaying aspect of things, enjoying simply to pick fights with other trainers just for the sake of picking fights.
The key to Drew's Strategy has always been speed, whether it be the Pokémon's natural affinity for acceleration or whatever priority moves she can get her hands on. Take her Electrode for example, a very fast member of her team who zips and and zaps around the field until- EXPLOSION IN YO FACE!!! And then there's her Yanmega, constantly using its Speed Boost ability to get faster and faster the longer its on the field. And then there's her Cyclizar, a decently fast Pokémon, but it's mainly around, so Drew can look awesome riding into town on its back.
As for the rest of her team, her Drakaeon, a peculiar mon with a similarity to Eeveelutions, is a serious fighter who actually tries to pretend Drew had a proper battle plan... though it's mostly ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK! Her Wildeboom, commonplace amongst many of the lower ranked members of Team Decept, enjoys this strategy, going in with explosive attacks, slashes, and even bites. It's even been known to bite on the hands of opposing trainers, a habit that hasn't phased Drew all that much. And then there's her Garchomp - oh man, when its on the field, you know Drew is about to go super serious, unleashing its Mega Evolution Z form to dominate the field with its intense speed and powerful attacks.
Since turning up at the World Tournament, Drew has done nothing but antagonising her opponents, either look to rile them up or make them nervous simply for her own amusement. Then again, some of her fellow competitors have stood up to her, with Houtaru Shoutu putting her in her place with an off-the-books battle. BUT THAT DOESN'T COUNT! Drew's gonna have the last word, just you wait...
