hawkins (210cm tall, 33cm foot, 27cm ball, 37cm ankle) and i both have high arches, as do our mothers, so i didn't realize how dramatic my gussets were until i started knitting for some of our crewmates. his boots need stretching in the instep less so than for his calves due to vertical real estate rather than width. he wears lace-up boots in all appearances, which should help with the irregular shape. unfortunately for wano au, idk how we would do with geta. maybe it is fine because it is open.
perona (160cm tall, 23cm foot, 21cm ball, 27cm ankle) is quite close to me, but i imagine her having a narrow enough heel to warrant a sharper short row drop-off. her arch is very average in terms of ball-to-ankle ratio. it's unclear how much she levitates vs walking but i don't think of her feet as muscular or pronounced, more delicate. she wears the same chunky red platform boots pre- and post-timeskip, but i can see her in daintier ankle boots that would let her show off lace socks.
crocodile (253cm tall, 40cm foot, 40cm ball, 51cm ankle) is somehow in a similar position to perona: he might overuse the suna suna no mi, which i suspect can be said of many logia users, as seen in him just whooshing up out of impel down. he isn't flat-footed per se, but his ankles and calves bear a lot of weight. he has a broad forefoot and would buy wide shoes and generally step quite heavily, with a heavy heel strike, but even, distributed weight means he doesn't wear through any one part.
drake (236cm tall, 36cm foot, 34cm ball, 42cm ankle) has the lowest arch so far. like i just think he has a heavy, flat, regimented gait and he likely wears through soles quickly. he's very stable and slow to move from where he's planted.
