Dungen (Sweden) and their unique "pastoral psychedelia" are releasing "En Är För Mycket och Tusen Aldrig Nog" (translation: One Is Too Much And A Thousand Never Enough) in October 2022 on Mexican Summer.
To me, Dungen can do no wrong, and they always keep me comfortably guessing. There is a long history on this blog of either directly writing about a Dungen release or name-dropping. Use the search tool - you'll see it goes back to 2015. In between, I've compared bands like Drakkar Nowhere and Madmans Moustache, Me and My Kites and so much more. But really, nothing else really sounds like Dungen. And while there's only one song from the new album here, it's outstanding.
