And it might star ex-EXO member Kris Wu. I must admit that as surprised (and sorta pleased but scared because even if I'm not Meteor Garden's biggest fan, that show was a huge part of my teenage years - childhood really 😁) as I was what caught my attention was the part where Kris might star in it. He'd make a good Dao Ming Si but I'm lowkey hoping that they cast newbies who aren't that famous yet just so we'd see the impact this reboot will have for the teens nowadays which is obviously the target audience. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing Kris Wu as Dao Ming Si and Darren Wang as Hua Ze Lei. Prince of China, Luhan would also make a good Hua Ze Lei, looks wise, but I'm Darren biased and he's proven he'd make a good second lead guy (which if he is casted as Hua Ze Lei, I'd prolly be crying in each episode just because). All these thoughts. Exciting. 😍 So many shocking news today. All good though but please halt a bit because my poor heart. 😆

Still can't believe that there is going to be a remake for My Date with Spring and Flowers of War.

My Thoughts:

- My Date with Spring: that is such an old classic HKdrama that I've seen so so long ago.  No one can outshine Sheren Tang.  I don't even know why they would cast Yuan Shan Shan for the main role...I think Yang Mi would be a better fit... imo.

- Flowers of War: Still can't believe it's going to be turned into a drama... I just hope they don't leave it as a cliffhanger like the movie.  Also wondering how graphic the scenes will be ... oh, that was a heart wrenching movie... Hopefully the drama version will do it justice as well.
