Lately I’ve been told that some of my rp friends are being dragged, especialy one of them.
Now, I don’t care what did they do in the past to you, because it’s just your problem with them. So far, they haven’t done shit to me, so I can’t side with any part.
What I’m talking about here, it’s the REASONS this person is being dragged, because one of them has my Ben into it.
So, let’s talk about this “““problematic”““ ship we call BenMarcy.
These are some of the arguments I saw thrown around about why this ship is “bad”.

1) They never denied Bubbline is canon, they just stated they didn’t like how it was achieved in the cartoon, and also were trying to write it again with another Bubblegum. 2) She headcanons Marceline as BI. You know, BISEXUAL. Liking both MEN AND WOMEN. Which, surprise, DOESN’T DENY OR CANCEL THE FACT SHE LIKES GIRLS??? She CANONICALLY had a BOYFRIEND, so idk, here there’s just one -phobic here, a BIphobic here and it’s YOU. 3) IT’S JUST A FREAKING RP BLOG THEY CAN HEADCANON WHATEVER THEY WANT A PERSON SHIPPING A HET SHIP DOESN’T MAGICALLY INVALIDATE A CANON QUEER SHIP WTF

You completely ignored how we’re writing this ship and it’s kinda annoying. Ben is a teenager with hormones flying around who has a BIG crush on a supernatural girl. Thing that, in the BEN 10 CANON HAPPENS A LOT????? We’re writing it slow, they haven’t even kissed yet, it’s just Ben trying to impress her and we still don’t know how she exactly feels about it. BESIDES, it’s out goddamn business if we like to see them together and so SHIP them. By your logic, even a 19 YO and a 1003 YO is kind of PEDOPHILIA, so even Bubbeline is problematic AF. But y’know, theyre ~lesbiuns~ so it’s totes ok, OK FINE SURE JAN. We ship them, and we already established IN PRIVATE (because y’know this is a personal ship that BOTH OF US agreed on) how this is evolving. Moving on on different questions:
Mineta is a character, even if you don’t like him, he can be rped and anyone can rp with him.
Idk about Dabi and Juvia, maybe they headcanon Juvia as older, who knows, maybe they and the other mun plotted before starting shipping, but unless they state their history (and THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO THAT FOR STRANGERS ON THE INTERNET) we can’t really know. I’m on the line myself but well I DON’T CARE. It’s a fictional ship, the canon says different stuff. Canon > fandom, so chill.
