Having no formal training in the arts, I tend to commit a lot of mistakes even at my age, which I don't realize until it's already too late (like after inking). I also have been complacent and neglected practicing my techniques during the past few years, so it took a while to convince myself to take on the #inktober challenge. This challenge hopefully should get me back on track, to help my hands remember what it used to be so sure of, and for my heart to be sure of what I'm truly passionate about. #dramalang #inktobershit

Baby you're a firework

I happen to witness a fireworks display here at SM San Jose Del Monte in line with the celebration for the opening of its view deck (which I need to say is very unique, but they have to consider enriching its landscape). Fireworks shows or displays are suppose to feel you something magical. Something sparkling under you belly. And as much as I feel those a while ago, I can't help but feel the hollow in my heart. He was once like a fireworks display to me, he was magic. He made me feel like the whole zoo is right inside my stomach. And as soon as I felt that, I am consciously blinking back my tears, hoping that they won't roll out my eyes coz really, is there anyone who cries during a fireworks display? As soon as the display is over, I thought that whatever magic it has possessed, whatever happiness it brought you, how much animals are there in your stomach, it will eventually come to an end. We all know that. Some things will come to an end. And you can't do anything but to watch it fade away, like how you watch as the smoke from the fireworks display dilute in the air around you. / rdrrn
