I used to judge people crooning "you broke my heart" I used to be able to listen to all types of love songs I feel a voice pouring itself, vibrating within me to make you understand a louder one tells me hold it in looking back some paths I felt I had to take I'm glad I passed by trying to truly release the grip I felt I had to hold for both of us it's hard to sit with myself, I want the roadtrips I looked forward to the feelings I counted on continuing the lilt in your gaze from across the table or beside me in bed to go away.
