I haven't got the time to watch "the guilty" yet. I'm still watching love between the lines haha and I'll probably start once i'm done with it!

ooohh pique-ing my interest on the ending there. i expect the drama to be "doomed" by the premise, i have that much expectation hahah so let's see how when i start on it, i wanna share with you when i start/finish it😊

you are right..we need to stop feeding on materials that are sub=par just because our favs are in it. I also find myself dropping some dramas if the show is going nowhere and it's such a waste cos the casts are ACTING. omg twelve letters, i feel you. i wished we had more of an epilogue for them actually enjoying life, they suffered so bad and we only get that gist of the letter in the end. we want moreeeeee!

for me, some of the ones that live rent free: pachinko (sunja/isak - such selfless love), little women(inju/doil - their sexual tension put me on a chokehold), rebel princess (awu/xiaoqi - one of the best period drama)

yeah one knows from the get go it's doomed 🥀….. but it was a good enjoyable watch!! the trio were good and easy to root for……

since i don't drop i find myself abusing the fast-forward button, and when that happens i know the drama is quite bad with only few redeeming qualities if there're any…. like i recently updated my drama page and i down-rated many dramas that weren't that good and remember fast-forward a lot of it………… come-on cast pick a better script and have a standard… i can't wrap my head around the fact jeon yeobin accepted ms. incognito that drama went downhill after ep2……………….. why girly WHYYY?????? to go from her earlier dramas/movies to that?!!??? was the paycheck that good???

can you imagine that we had a few moments of xun/heitang!!!!!!!!!!!!! show us their happy times along with that last narration😭😭😭😭😭………….. omggg sunja/isak were so tragic i cried a river when he died😭😭😭😭 we didn't get much time with them yet he had such a big impact 😭😭😭😭……. oh i enjoyed inju/doil dynamic and chemistry so much. maybe one day we'll have a round 2 of them in a GOOD romance drama/movie like we're getting one with minha&steve noh 🥹🥹🥹🥹 let our hearts be healed!!! haven't watched rebel princess yet…

oh hmmm i'm fine with any colorings but i do love yellow/orange sets 😍😍 along with the blue ones…. but no pressure there😉😉….

in terms of shows, im not really in the thick of anything right now but be my angel and duang with you recently started and i've enjoyed the first two episodes of both shows alot!! also, outside of the asian drama realm i've been watching s3 of school spirits and the lore reveal this season have been super interesting

in terms of impactful shows or characters the two that come to mind are i feel you linger in the air and one spring night. from ifylita i feel like every moment between yai and jom feels impactful idk if i can ever narrow it down to a few lmfao but from one spring night two of my favorite scenes are the first i love you and when jung-in basically proposes to ji-ho :')))

It's FINE! Time gets away from us allll. February has been going well actually! I've been having a weirdddd time with dramas lately since like December. I WANT to watch something new, but it's been hard to be gripped by shows. Once something happens that kind is out of my taste I'm just not compelled to continue on T_T which is annoying because I'm not usually like that.

Anyway, I've been TRYING to watch Positively Yours (which I'm liking idk why I just haven't been compelled to continue. This is one of my favorite tropes and it's hardly ever done!) Everlasting Longing-she's kind of insufferable.

Hmmm fav romantic moments? Uh? in Weightlifting Fairy when they were by their little hangout rock and she kissed him all over the face? Or in Second Shot at Love she fell asleep at the ML's house and at breakfast the next morning she was like why didn't you try anything?? And he's all confused and she basically says well I'm ready now and kisses him into the couch. LOL Deng Lun feeding Sun Yi while she was angry ranting on Because of Meeting You. I think I enjoy physical affection OR small displays of like "knowing each other" as romantic scenes. Nice talking to you!!!

oohhh i saw ppl talking about it and I think I might pick "the guilty" up since it's only 14 eps and I am in the mood for mystery/thriller!

it's unfortunate when the script is bad but the casts are soo good, but they are also the reason we stay for the show. ahhhh since you already read the c-novels, your expectations of the drama version would be high! I hope they do justice or if they change it actually makes sense/be better (very rare i'd assume 😂)

I feel you, i've been in kdrama slump too..it's so saadd😭

I'm either motivated by the cast or in the mood for that genre. I tend to go head on, with no background of the story, like a little surprise hahaha.

now that i have finished "the guilty" drama. i have to say it was good but the landing wasn't as good for me at least.. like it was "doomed" from the get go but didn't see it going that route….. have you checked it yet?

for a while i used to pick them even with the bad script/directing just for the visual and the pretty faces but i stopped doing that after many failure dramas…. writers need to do better honestly also they need to stop casting the same actors in dramas👊🏼………. and i do try to lower my expectations since i know changes are inevitable what could work in paper might needs adjustment for the visual media…. and there're times when i watch drama first then read their novel…. ughhhh how i wished "twelve letters" drama had a novel just so i could have more of xun/tang 🥹🥹🥹🥹i need few more minutes of their happiness in the end!!!!!!!!!!!!

ships that lives rent free in my head….. i can name many i feel but lets start what attracts me i need to feel their genuine connections and care about the characters themselves and have the characters have chemistry not just the actors idk if you get what i mean but the same actors can have ton of chemistry with certain characters yet not so much with different characters. .. and i need to find myself rewatching their moments again and again ….. some of those couples are… bokshil/louie they were so puuuuuure and puppies so warm to this day i still want a 2nd round with inguk/jihyun it's been almost a decade since their first time🥹🥹🥹…

healer/youngsin… the korean superman/lois version. their buildup and moments was just amazing… and the fake love triangle was a cherry on top to have jeonghu compete with himself was delicious to watch… to this day i still think they're each other best chemistry…

lixun/zhuyun…. such a compelling couple with great chemistry and i thought i was over the cold tsundere ml 😅😅😅…. zhu yun was so brave and kind and finally was able to find her passion and freedom through meeting lixun and him who felt he had failed his mother and sister starting to warm up and let people in and trust in them, finally found people who truly care about him… every time he called zhuyun princess i melt 🥹🥹🥹🥹……..

mirae/kyungseok… while the acting wasn't the best but it felt quite sincere and i truly cared about mirae and wanted her to be happy and have good things in her life and i like how kyungseok always liked her even before her plastic surgery and found her cute…..

rona/seokhoon… the outcast girl with the fighting spirit and the redeemed bad boy who once he had experienced positive feelings started slowly and steadily to change for the better!! i was so disappointed with how s3 went with barely having much time together as couple and then breaking them up acting as if they were truly strangers and barely having any interactions and through that shitty season it felt as if the ship had sink in at the bottom of the ocean but they had their reunion after years of separation and had their happy ending !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jaeyeol/haesoo… their relationship was 🔥🔥… the chemistry between insung/hyojin was truly amazing and the progress of their relationship from hate/annoyance to love was smooth i shed so many tears with haesoo😭😭!!!

gangdu/moonsu… the trauma healing couple… the amount of tears that i shed for them…. those babies deserves happiness and good things onlyyyyy!!!!

simajiao/tingyan.. their immortal arc was everything i wanted! even with the addition useless stuff they added to the plot, their arc was still faithful to the novel, the lonely mad grandmaster and the lazy servant who just want to eat and sleep.. it was fun and sexy!! they were everything that i wanted!!!

i just yesterday picked up "the guilty" cdrama and so far it's good, it's my first mystery/thriller cdrama so I'm hoping the ride will be good… it's short so the writing should be tight and with little fillers….. the biggest factor is the leads followed closely by the writer/director team because we all know a good casting can't save a bad script/directing💀💀…….. and for some upcoming cdrama i'm looking forward to I've already read their original c-novel so hoping they'll be at the very least just as good without much changing the core of the story/characters🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼…. for kdrama i'm currently in a slump nothing is piquing my interest rn which is sad 🥲🥲 ……………. sidenote: i'm quietly enjoying watching the anime tamon's b-side and i haven't watched any new anime in a long time so that's nice 🥳🥳……..

Oh, that sounds fun! Glory is on my list to watch but I got distracted by another drama. I just finished Idol I, which is the first kdrama I've finished in a while! I see you've been reblogging Kwak Dong Yeon's scenes from Vincenzo. I loved his character!! Do you have a favorite drama, couple, character, or trope you love?

Someone kindly always keep me in the tags when they make kwak dong yeon scenes so i can always reblog it heheh. I like when he’s in a drama, always a scene stealer!

I always say this but my fav slice of life kdrama is my liberation notes hahah. But my recent repeat/rewatch is the best thing. Something about it being so comforting, healing and sweet, soft relationship. Whenever i need a “lift” from mundane life, i tend to rewatch some of their scenes.

Trope that I’m always drawn to, would be by chance meeting, strangers to lovers, friends to lovers, or make it painful but fulfilling 2nd chance at love hahahah.
