My poor alcoholic infused attempt at rationalizing why Olise speaks french during intercourse.

here’s my thought. one of olises parents is french/algerian. he’s grown up around the use of french in his household im guessing.

him switching to french in a moment of anger is a manifestation of his subconscious tied to his childhood (freud?). When you’re angry you don’t know what you’re saying because your emotion is put first.

now, during sex — an irrationality — we aren’t hyperly vigilant about what we say in moments of climax because we’re so caught up on the feeling. (another moment of intense emotion like when he missed the shootout) we mewl and speak things without thinking what we’re saying. see the pattern? his brain says: EMOTION BOMB? FRENCH IS SAFER.

i could freudize this even further but that would make it weird so lets wrap it up. my fingers also hurt from typing.
