AFTER HOURS - DRAMIONE

In the aftermath of the War, Hermione Granger finds herself at a crossroads. After vanishing for almost three years, Hermione's reappearance as the Minister for Magical Creatures sparks curiosity about her mysterious travels. Rumors circulate, suggesting her time abroad was simply for leisure, and/or to educate herself further. However, Hermione states that it was simply for "new experiences", but those who know her tended to question the true reasons behind her departure from Wizarding England.

As her past catches up with her, Hermione faces a choice: confront her demons and reveal the secrets that haunt her or keep them locked away forever. The truth awaits its unveiling, and Hermione finds herself standing at a crossroads once again.

Chapter 7 Summary

Harry didn’t say anything. He simply guided her to the couch, sitting beside her as she curled into herself, wrapping her arms tightly around her knees.

“I’m here, Hermione,” he whispered. “I’ve got you.”

And for the first time all night, she let herself cry.

Chapter 8 Summary

Dr. Shaw paused, allowing the silence to settle, before she spoke again, her tone shifting to one of quiet encouragement.

“From a professional point of view, Hermione, I believe you’re ready for this next step. You’ve committed yourself to your healing journey. You’ve worked through so much. You’re mentally strong, but you continue to hold yourself back when it comes to matters of the heart. My advice to you is simple: Leap. Do the thing that scares you the most, because, sometimes, that’s where the greatest rewards lie.”

Despite his intolerable presence, she became very aware of the sense of protection he had over her. Perhaps it was, like he had said, his duty as the head of the Malfoy House.

But, remembering Draco from his time at Hogwarts, she found that she was always very fond of the way he was protective of the girls in his house. Pansy, Astoria, Daphne – Parkinson and Greengrass.
