Death is Dracula's best confidant 🥺 immortal bestie hubbies 🥺
Death is always there to bring back Dracula to life, and usually being one of the hardest bosses for the heroes to face. He cares ❤️
Death has canonically entered his master's body. #servicetop
Dramont:
literally tied by the string of fate hello???
the Belmonts are the only people, not counting those infused with Dracula's essence, capable of putting Dracula in his place. At the same time, Dracula is a constant presence in the Belmonts' lives, the demon that haunts all of them, the figure that shapes them whether they want it or not.
honestly if I were Dracula I would totally hit on all those handsome men and pretty boys coming at me with a whip 😏
Celiakado:
it would be so fucking funny
I love how fans looked at Arikado being the worst in AoS and instead of labelling him as OOC they accepted that he has all the diseases now - and one of these diseases would be having a fling with a cult leader obsessed with his dad lol
idk. the ship gives more love to Celia? the most girlfailure of all girlfailures? she canonically knows Arikado so might as well flesh her out through her terrible taste in men lol
So, out of curiosity... I've seen that you ship Dracula with the Belmonts.
Any particular interactions in the games that kind of got you started shipping them?
Yeah... me interacting with the lore. ❤️
But for real, there's no particular interaction that made me start shipping it... as far as I can remember? (It's pretty blurry in my head when exactly the shipping started)
I got into that ship (...those ships?) mostly because 1: ennemies to stillennemiesbutalsolovers my beloved ❤️ And 2: I love the dynamic between the Big Evil Guy Who Can't Handle Grief And Makes It Everyone's Problem, and the Family Of Heroes Who's Ancestor He Wronged Once Upon A Time And That Is Now Out For His Blood. ❤️
They're tightly tied together by Fate (and by "Fate" I mean "Mathias' countless fuck ups")...it's pretty intimate if you ask me. ❤️ The Belmonts' lives basically revolve around Dracula, which is heavy and tragic for them, but makes their relationship with him more intense. They started their night-hunting tradition because of him, they're the only ones who can defeat him when in full power, the most powerful weapon against Dracula is infused with the ex of a Belmont ancestor's soul (and if you try to handle it without being a Belmont, you take the risk of dying from it)... Meanwhile Dracula has to fight his old friend over and over again through his descendants, who just won't stop coming, smh. I've said this before, but Dracula made the Belmonts, and the Belmonts made Dracula, and there can't be one without the other. And I like to imagine them kiss about it. ❤️ And about a lot other things that are like. Not Good.
I just like my Dracula Belmont-obsessed and gross, and my Belmonts having the weight of their fate crushing them so hard that the only way for them to cope with the countless hardships and tragedies they face is to share very homosexual moments with the one responsible for their generational suffering. ❤️ Well... They don't always have to be willing participants. 😉 hi Soleil
Do you prefer Dramont to be one-sided from Dracula or the Belmont legacy is to fuck and kill Dracula?
Hmmmm...
On one hand, you have Dracula thinking his relationship with the Belmonts is deeper than it is. Being immortal, he has a whole other perspective on it than the family, who only see him as a threat to be destroyed...
And on the other you have generational hate-fucking. ❤ Truly a difficult decision.
But really, I think I prefer the first one. I don't imagine Dracula's love post-Lisa to be that... good. :) It's more of an unhealthy obsession. A selfish desire to possess. To him the Belmonts are His, His to take and His to kill. They're his other half. His whole existence pretty much revolves around them since Lisa's death since they keep coming to his Castle to kick his ass everytime he wakes up lmao. Thing is, the Belmonts actually have lives outside of him. 😔 Before he resurrects and after he dies. 😔 But Dracula can take comfort in the fact he will always live on in their heart and minds, from birth to death... Because of the trauma he keeps inflicting on them, the bastard. ❤ That's his way of assuring that the clan will always remember him. ❤ That they will never stop having them in the back of their mind, afraid that he might rise again soon ❤ He is so in love. ❤
(The second option is good for pure smut though, teehee)
Oh to be a giant vampire lord sinking your fangs in the tender skin of your sworn ennemy's throat...
Oh to have to hold them up in the air because they're only half your size so their feet swing in the air as you feed from them...
Oh to trap them in your wings in a possessive manner because their yours, your eternal ennemy and no one else's, because no one else is worthy, no one else can understand how deep your hate for each other go, no one can understand the kind of relationship you share, no one can understand and know them like you do...
Dracula needs the Belmont clan, the Belmont clan needs Dracula. They give meaning to the other's existence. They are forged by the other's existence. Dracula made the Belmonts and the Belmonts made Dracula.
Them being dependent on each other in an endless cycle that only brings them misery and hate. Them being obsessed with each other. Their relationship being obviously unhealthy, destructive even, but they can't break it. They can't shatter their bond. As long as one exist, the other will thrive and fight. They're cursed, by no one else but themselves. They're addicted to this curse. They can't imagine an existence without the other. The other's shadow will always loom over their mind. They can never get rid of each other. Good and evil blend together to the point they forget the world around them. They are one. They are Chaos itself.
And from this chaos, a kind of respect is born. A respect for the other's persistence, for their abilities, for their strength, for the way they are ready to go to any length to defend their ideals, no matter how dramatically opposed they are to their own.
And it's physical. And it's emotional. And it's psychological. They thirst for each other's blood in more ways than one. They thirst for the fight, for the warmth, for the drink, for the life and lack thereof, for the familiar unknown, for the fire of passion. Passion for their ideals. Passion for their unending hate. Passion for the drug they are to each other.
They are each other's beginning and end, if they were to ever reach it.
What are the top 5 reasons for why Dramont is the best ship(s)?
It's Shippy On Main time...
5. Generational ennemies to lovers is hot ngl. Love that there is always a Belmont waiting for him when he wakes up and is at the peak of his strength. 😏
4. The homoerotic tension between the most powerful vampire hunters and the old friend of their founder who also happened to become the Dark Lord A.K.A the most dangerous and powerful vampire Of All Time ❤️
3. The Bond. No character in Castlevania can claim to have quite as strong and meaningful and important and special of a bond with Dracula as the Belmont clan does. Something something they are linked in a unique way and it's the worst yet best thing that could have ever happened to them. Literally the heart of the franchise. ❤️ (they are pretty much literally made for each other)
2. Dracula being a deeply possessive bastard over the Belmonts. They are his, his to hurt, his to kill, his to capture. His to mark forever, whether in the form of physical scars... or mental ones. :) His to destroy and no one else shall lay a hand on them. Had there been an ennemy not from his side who would have tried to kill them, he would have protected them just because fuck them, he did not spend a millenia fighting the Belmonts just for them to get hurt or killed by someone else. He might be above all vampires and creatures of the night, but he is not above the inherently possessive and obsessive nature of said vampires. His standards are just very high and the Belmonts are the only ones truly reaching them... they're just as possessive of him, btw. And obsessed. The only difference is that they don't want to admit it to anyone, not even themselves. Maybe they don't even realize it. :) But no matter what they think or say...
1. ...They were made by Dracula. ❤️ None of the Belmonts we know would have existed had Dracula not betrayed Leon and made him killed Sara. Had he not decided to become a vampire, indirectly forcing Leon to abandon everything and leading to Sara's death, they would not even have become a family of vampire hunters. Better yet, they would not have become the most powerful of vampire hunters, only growing in strength each century to match Dracula's own growing strength. The Belmonts are so dependant on Dracula, you could compare them to vampires he sired. :) They did made Dracula the way he is, too, in a way. Being killed over and over again by the same group of guys does Things to a man, lol. But also, Mathias would have never succeeded without Leon. Basically, Dracula and the Belmonts' existences revolves around each other in every sense possible, and I love that for them. :)
Honorary mention to the fact they're all very hot and sexy and beautiful and unhealthy for each other and that's why i need them to make out sloppy style and do much more nasty things together 🥰
I also like to imagine that Mathias participated in the creation of the VK with Rinaldo, because not only it make sense since it means he pretty much planned for Leon to use Sara to complete it... but also simply because I love the idea that Dracula helped to create the One Weapon who would ever be able to destroy him. And then put it in the hands of the only ones strong enough to defeat him at his strongest. Oh the irony ❤️ It adds a little bit of spice, you know? ❤️ Dracula really helped a lot to create his own demise. ❤️
