That these people that I’ve turned to that would help me smile on shitty days are condoning this shitty behavior. I thought that these youtubers were. You know. Decent, upstanding people who understand that actions have consequences, and sometimes you need to know when to admit you’ve done something wrong.

But... clearly not.

Like. I’m not as mad at the original joke as much as I’m mad about the response to it. That these fully grown ass adults are patting each other’s backs and saying “omg..... these ppl are so mean!!! youre gonna get thru it!!!!!” 

I’m not saying you shouldn’t show support to friends. You can certainly do that one on one. 

What I’m saying is you shouldn’t downplay someone’s actions and showing support in spite of (or god forbid FOR) those actions for the sake of “making them feel better uwuwuwuwuuwuwu!!!”

It’s. So goddamn disgusting how adults are trying to avoid being held responsible for their actions. 

There’s more of an impact here than “friends supporting friends!!!” It’s young children and impressionable young adults seeing that making an offensive joke isn’t such a big deal guys!!!!!!! come on lol youre all being such whiny baby tumblrcucks!!!!!!! 

At the point when self-proclaimed alt-right and nazi groups are supporting you for your actions, you need to take a fucking step back and look at yourself.

I'm not actually super into Reylo i just think shipping drama is dumb and see them getting targeted unfairly for it way too much (tho Reylo femdom is like ten million brands of my thing, plz give it to me)

Man as awful and full of fanboy elitism and no fun allowed as the UC Gundam fandom can be, at least it doesn't have shipping drama cause a vast majority of hardcore mecha fanboys don't give a fuck about shipping Like the closest I've ever seen is very, very rarely some dude gets his knickers in a twist over Char and garma being less than heterosexual but that's it (and I've only ever seen it happen a couple times in all my years in the fandom)

OK so If seeing a post that says some (definitely not all, but some) members of certain ship fandoms are inclined to act afool causes you to freak out and get defensive and accuse the OP of shit just for pointing out it ain't all roses and honey You might just be one of the people that person is talking about. If that's the case, you need to take about three steps back and remember that personal preferences in fictional characters fucking isn't serious business
