i went on my first real vacation out of my country last weekend! we were in riga for four days for our birthdays that are less than a week apart. i hadn't been in a plane since 2011 !?!? the whole trip was so fun and i feel it was exactly what i needed rn
#we saw two medical science museums#ate well#drank well#and walked a LOT#there's still so much to see#we were mostly in old town but we did venture out a bit#i've never been to a tourist place as a tourist like THAT before but it was a fun experience#january isn't the most busy#thank goodness#but we did find some places that felt like they were more for locals and places that you don't just accidentally walk in to#like the museums#i have to add: i've been out of my country before but they havent been holidays like that#they've been school or other trips like that#but there haven't been many#before this one i've been on a plane 4 times in my life xd
