I've been sketching a new OC a lot but I haven't shared anything online yet cause I haven't been in the mood for social media. The character is a fan-character made for the world of @viperiumprime 's Left Turn Past the Last Pine Tree. She's a mermaid who has never seen the ocean, living amongst humans in a small Coloradan town.

Announcing The Wandering Inn Inktober2023 Challenge!

To recognize and support all of the great artists out there, The Wandering Inn will be launching a Wandering Inn Inktober2023 Challenge, with our own prompts! This is a fantastic time for artists to improve their skills, develop positive habits, and have fun. For fans, this is an opportunity to give thanks (and likes, reblogs, follows, and maybe even a Blaze) to all the artists who spice up your experience.

This TWI October challenge is for Honor and Glory. But the great thing about glory is that it comes with bragging rights! (Honor has less bragging).

How to get your bragging rights

1) Any artist who posts at least once a week and tags their art with #Inktober and #the wandering inn is eligible.

2) When Inktober is over, a selection of finalists will be chosen. TWI readers will vote for their favorite piece of art in a public poll! If you want to make sure your best art is seen, message us with a link by November 2nd.

3) pirateaba will announce the winning art and the artist on wanderinginn.com. Let the bragging commence!

This is all just for fun. While the ducks' favorite art and its artist will be featured, so will all the other artists (eventually). You'll get to be first though, and that's more fun.

See the prompt list to prepare yourself. The challenge officially begins October 1. The Inn can't wait to support your growth, feature your talent, and create more Painted Antiniums (metaphorically).
