lil doodle to celebrate progress! I've restarted this challenge like twice over the years, not the farthest i've gone, but the most consistent.

started Lesson one again in feburary. i moved between then and now, so i'd say i'm doing fairly good!

Janurary Draw-A-Box Homework Part 2

this is where i dropped off, i had been doing so good, but i got caught up on how much time these were taking and put off the last three for like three weeks lol.

Listening to the Draw-A-Box guy talk about pedagogy is great. It's the exact kind of thing I've been trying to communicate verbally as a teacher.

Art Journal 10/7/23

thought i'd start keeping a lil art journal on here. this is mostly for me to visualize the progress i've been making on my studies of week, and eventually I think it'll be neat to look back on. this is mostly for my personal use, but if anyone has any critique to offer that will be very welcome on these <3

oh also putting a cut here since this will be kinda long:

i've been doing some kinda boring studies this week, but i move further in my classes next week so maybe we'll get to do something more exciting.

but ye, for my warmups this week i've been doing some very brief gesture drawings. the full figures were 30-60 seconds each, and the feet studies were about 2-5 min each. i think next week I'm going to try and do some longer figure studies and really get some practice in.

I've also been trying to power through the 250 Box challenge so i can move on to lesson two of Draw-A-Box so here are boxes 21-43. Nice thing is that i feel like i'm learning a ton even if i haven't got the hang of it yet(still keep expanding in the wrong direction) sometimes tho you can very clearly see where my brain just imploaded and forgot how boxes work lol.

I've also been doing abasic perspective enviroment course online, so there's also the homework from that...(hopefully i'll be wrapped up with that course next week)
