A brief trip in time back to the 50's. DrawBlood is not a superhero comic, but Miss Ivy Saint the plant fairy is the closest to a superhero amongst the characters, since she exclusively uses her powers to help people (girls in danger).

While this comic is no means autobiographical, I do put little bits of myself in it throughout.  1998 was the first time I visited Florida. I drew and painted (watercolor and ink) this Summer 2020.  Took an entire day of free time.  I really like it.  Even if it's not an "exciting" page.

pg 56-  These are things my dad actually believes.  That he would tell my dinosaur book and figurine-collecting child self.  I sided with the scientists.  He has other nutso conspiracy theories and religious beliefs he seems to have made up for himself, that I've never heard anyone but him refer to.... and I'm glad he never learned how to use a computer beyond playing solitaire on it.  I can't imagine what he'd get up to on facebook. pg 57-  Shena, as you may have guessed by now, was not able to turn into a vampire.  The process doesn't always work.

They refer back to events in parts 2 and 3, as well as things that happen in DarkDragons (set in the same place but with mostly different characters at a different time... in simple terms : DarkDragons is about those that left town, DrawBlood is about those that stayed). I wish I had enough fans that people would be excited about it all starting to come together *sigh*

Important highlights:
