I used the path tool to finish the tip. This is on the line layer. Since going from path to selection will close the shape, I made sure that it would be above the well done inside. The dotted line is the selected area
We are on the line layer. I use the bucket fill set to "fill whole selection" with white to fill the selection. Notice how the white overlaps the black part of the line.
I used select none to kill the previous selection. I restored the path to active and stroked the path with black. A nice fix for the tip.
I used the path tool and a stroke path with black to restore this line. I cleaned up with the eraser tool. Now, except for the interlace, Luna is done.
Using the pencil tool and the eraser tool I completed the interlace pattern.
Stuck Luna onto an easy to make gradient background.
Not too bad looking at all.
