There needs to be a scale of ethics for getting references for gore. Like on the high end is like, getting images from ethically made horror movies, and the opposite end is seeking out gore on the dark web. Somewhere in the middle leaning ethical is watching videos of people getting surgery done. Medical documents and stuff. And then there’s another axis labeled “accuracy”.
