Hey there! Umm, I was wondering if you had any tips on drawing women? As stupid as it sounds, I've had a hard time drawing them because I was always fixated on drawing men. Every time that I draw a female character, I make her more masculine than I want (not that women can't be masculine), and, when I do happen to draw them a bit okay, they tend to have the same hairstyle so I was also thinking if had some resources/references on women's hair styles. Anyways, thank you and have a good day! :)
hi there! I recommend learning the differences between men and women anatomically.
Some pointers:
For hairstyles, pinterest boards are so awesome!
Women tend to have wider hips than man bc they need to carry babies
Thinner and less defined jaw structure, sometimes thinner facial structure.
Some wear makeup, or emphasize eyelashes and thin out eyebrows.
Less bony landmarks, sometimes.
Learn anatomy of breasts and their placement.
Often shorter than men.
Less arm definition sometimes. Many women do not have as much visible muscle mass as men, unless they work out a lot.
Hope this helps!
