Ok I’m super curious because I’m wondering/starting to think people have different definitions of what “using a reference” means when it comes to having a drawing reference, so poll time!

What do you mean by “using a reference image”?

Having a ref image that I then trace (pose, background, clothes, etc.)

Having a ref image that I look at while drawing, but don’t trace
