Even though I’ve been drawing city maps for roughly 12-13 years, this is the first time I attempt a ‘satellite view’ city map, and also first time I share one of my creations. It has been done with a standard black ball pen.

Gotta say it’s pretty poor for a first try, but I really liked it regardless, even if I fucked up the measures while trying to draw the stadium/arena at the center. Also, I’ve poured some of my own self invented symbology into it. For example, the P letters around stand for ‘Parking’, the small circles with a dot inside represent parks/squares, little swirls represent trees, and so on.

The subway system for this unnamed city is currently in progress, and is being drawn right at the reverse of the paper sheet. Hope to come out with something way more polished, well-scaled and complete next time.
