I have a few hundred 4x6 index cards not being used, so thought I’d draw on them. Started on the first of the year doing some drawthread requests. AJ was a request on stream and Celestia/Luna was a thing for a sister thread.

Took a couple years, but I think I’m doing a bit better. Changed fields entirely, getting another degree, still drawing horses.
Going to *try* to have a drawing for everyday of 2020, posted weekly. See how it goes with working full time and schooling full time.
Got an email on June 4th that this blog turned 4 years old. In commemoration, I tried redrawing the concepts from the first post I made; Fluttershy with my latest progress on human practice. I reposted the original here with adjusted levels for comparison. Then another page from Fun With a Pencil and a drawthread request from last week I couldn’t fit into the last post. I’m about halfway through my fourth sketchbook, so a book a year seems like a good pace to me.
~Below is a personal thing I feel like I need to get off my chest. It should be skipped~
A lot of stuff has happened in four years. In actuality, stuff started six years ago when I graduated high school and decided to pursue Biology to eventually go to medical school with. Biology turned to Biochemistry and this drawing dump started halfway through that degree. My senior year, I took the MCAT for the first time and got a respectable 30 and applied for medical schools. I wasn’t the most focused while finishing up my classes and was turned down by the handful of schools I applied for. So, picking up some volunteering in hospital settings, including some emergency department research, I reapplied after a year off. Working on that application was why I didn’t draw for most of 2015. Fast forward to now, early/mid 2016, and I’ve been turned down from all 23 schools I applied to and applying is not cheap, costing a few hundred dollars per school. As a backup, I planned to go into nursing, work in the field and apply for a final time in several years (which will require retaking the MCAT and everything else since it’s been so long). Lately, I’ve been trying to get a nursing assistant position at a hospital, in the same department, I’ve been volunteering at for just over three years and have been getting jerked around for about three months over it. The people that I’ve worked with actually made a petition saying they want me personally there in the position, which is probably the nicest thing a group of relative strangers has ever done for me. Last week, an update I was given has made the outcome of me getting it look not so good. Making such long term plans and working towards them to have them crumble like this has been crushing and it’s been bothering me a lot lately. Not entirely sure what to do next and I’ve been contemplating some bad ‘solutions’ in the meantime when I’m tired. I’m still here for now though and will probably keep drawing up until whatever happens, but I needed to write this and will hopefully feel better soon.

Been down and not feeling good about things for the past couple weeks, but finally got around to drawing after not doing it for a week to finish a project I’d been working on. In other news, I finished my third sketchbook and started my fourth with these.
Little bit late, but I really felt like drawing this past week, not so much scanning. Got a request from archiesonicbrony for their OC, and she’s black and white so she’s practically colored in! Also thanks for the mlpdrawingschool subreddit for their input on it; they gave me tips on drawing the wings and pointed out some early flaws.
After that, a whole bunch of drawthread requests since I felt like drawing but not thinking of what to draw, except Cadance as a Dyson Ball. That one I got dared to make.
Couple pictures done. A warm up Twilight with a “hidden” gpony, Cadance ‘eating’ Bringles, and a draw-thread request of Nightmare Moon with a Serperior wrapped around her neck. Feels like I’m getting closer to where I was earlier this year.
Have some outside stuff going on and lost motivation to draw this week so I drew these in the last couple days. Outside stuff will probably continue going on for the rest of the month
