Yeah.
Artist Training Grounds on EQD started up again, so I did a couple doodles in aggie.io.
Tried finishing up that Twilight, didn’t go the way I wanted so calling that done. Mostly wanted the wing nicer, and had slim success.
Would like to pick up Loomis’ Fun With a Pencil again to finish it as I found another book I’d like to try. Re-did a few heads from the last few pages I did before stopping. Next it shows bodies, clothes, landscape/perspective, so that might be fun.
Last, worked on Luna pic. Got base colors blocked in and mostly layered correctly. Might have to make her tail more floaty. Thinking about replacing the background with a CG render in Blender.
Oh, also got an email this week saying this draw blog is eight years old. Kinda crazy.
Happy June
Spent all my free time this week drawing; no sewing, needlepoint, programming, fixing sewing machine, nothing. Turns out,I’m still really slow with digital draws but might stick with it for a bit.
I plan to continue working on Tuesday Twilight a bit and I want the last pic to be nice, so that will probably be several Sundays of work to finish. Kinda ran out of time today to work on it more. Tomorrow is June already.
So, this horse’s name is apparently Evening Star. He was one of the four stallions pulling the train in the episode Over a Barrel before the train was replaced with a proper steam locomotive in season 2. He then pulled Applejack’s carriage in The Last Roundup and later Cherry Jubilee’s carriage in Party Pooped (where she said they had counted over 400 thousand cherries the night before). After running off a cliff pulling Cherry and Pinkie Pie, he ended up in Manehattan as a taxi puller.
Got some stitching done this week too. Maybe something more colorful next week.
Received my grandmother’s Husqvarna-Viking 6010 sewing machine last weekend and have been cleaning and using it a bit this week. Lubricant inside seemed to turn to varnish and locked things up, but I’ve gotten a bit freed. Still need to work on the button hole mechanism, but the cleaning has been taking time from drawing.
Didn’t get these scanned yesterday.
Another month already. Got put on daily medication for my guts for the rest of my life this week, was hoping to avoid any permanent meds until I was a bit older.
Still doing some programming, but feeling better about this week’s drawings; a sort of small Scootaloo almost-comic thing.
Drawing took a bit of a backseat this week. Had first colonoscopy and then got into a programming project that’s almost done now. Couple of these aren’t the absolute worst at least.
School stuff is tapering off, but there’s still other stuff I want to work on than drawing. We’ll see if quality improves any still.

Spring break is starting and got extended an extra week because of plague. If I get homework done for the rest of the semester during this break, maybe drawing quality will improve.
Also, Flurry Heart is good horse for wing drawing practice - massive wings.
Wings!
Week was mostly bad, upswing started on Thursday. Hopefully this week will be alright, then spring break the week after.
It was a bad week
I tried drawing some wings tho
