It is interesting to me to see that competition, winning at the expense of others, and stepping on others to get ahead are starting to crumble as success models... people pleasers had this figured out decades ago... we collaborated, supported others on the path with us towards success, and were genuine about being helpful and service-oriented. Talk about us being ahead of our time... and being highest good evolved. People pleasers make the world a better place!
Be honest... there are days when you feel quite unremarkable, right? I know I do. I want you to know that you don't have to put on a show, perform, excel, or be the best in the world to be remarkable. You are invited to accept and acknowledge that you are remarkable!
Hobbies are fun and low stress. What if we approached these areas of our lives as hobbies for joyful living? It's a simple mindset and relationship shift that puts a smile on my face and a joyful skip in my step. Try it on. You may just find a smile on your face too.
The ways people pleasers, givers, or conscientious service providers show they care is different from everyone else. We're sensitive, emotional, empathic, and intuitive... so we have a gift for making the world a better place for others... but, when others don't show they care, show common courtesy, or reciprocate, we can become bitter. The thing is... those people who are not like us... don't show they care in the same way we do.
