Starting my dread journey❣️I only have one so far but I’m pretty stoked about it already 😸

I decided to freeform because I wanted my strands to be unique. I've semi-freeformed (journey), two strand twisted (journey), and have had loc extensions done previously & the results were favorable yet not the look I desired overall. There is a hashtag called #instantlocs and I never again wanted to be confused with having supplemented any growth during my process. Having organic freeform dreads were the only way I could achieve this. This is nothing against anyone on any phase of their journey or how You decide to express Your freedom through a loc journey. I just knew what would work for me. I've had plenty of different trials before I committed to this. Therefore, I also knew what would NOT work for me. People instantly loc to avoid that in between stage which is the most difficult because Your friends and family or employers might not understand what is happening inside of You or the changes You are going through. We live in a world full of instant gratification so if You don't have "it" already most people won't back You up in Your pursuit to obtain -it. No one can understand Your journey as fully as YOU. Stay committed no matter which path You decide and You will eventually find that peace that You seek.
