"Sarah Cope" Continues to lie

"Sarah Cope" (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005567538012) is a profile that the Devtective has written about twice (Here and here) who has been recently gracing amputee Facebook pages and groups online, telling people different versions of a sob story about how "she" was electrocuted and lost either "her" leg above the knee, both of arms, or all of "her" limbs, depending on (I guess?) what kind of mood strikes the creep behind the profile.

In this screencap, "Sarah" tells someone that she lost all of her limbs.

and here "Sarah" is telling me "she" is a DSD (Double arm disarticulate) asking me to help her find other arm amputees, and talking about using her feet.

Wait, when was your "accident" Sarah? January? Or February?

"Sarah" makes friends with amputee women, tell them all about "herself" and then does things like request stump pictures or videos of women hopping on crutches.

Whoever is behind "Sarah Cope" is taking advantage of people. Please go report this profile as fake. If enough people do, maybe "Sarah" will get the hint that this type of behavior is disgusting. We are NOT your playthings.

Natalie Weiden and the "power" of bad photoshop

The other day a Facebook friend of mine asked me what I thought of this profile of Natalie Weiden. (https://www.facebook.com/natalie.weiden)

Natalie (screencap below) is presenting "herself" as an above knee amputee, as you can see from the pics.

A quick search reveals that these pictures were stolen from a (NSFW) modeling website. Here; http://www.coedcherry.com/paysite/josie-model/galleries/42547

It's also clear from the pictures that the ones featuring her above knee residual limb or prosthesis are photoshopped "electronic surgery".

See?

Whoever is behind the photoshopping of this woman even added fake photoshopped tattoos. LOL.

In fact, if you do a google search for some of these images, you get a LOT of hits to websites saying that these pictures have been used by scammers.

Suffice to say, block and report this profile.

Rashique Itquan liar liar pants on fire

Rashique (https://www.facebook.com/rashique.itquan) contacted my friend on Facebook and asked her for a few things:

Aww, how sweet that someone is trying to help a friend of his, but my friend felt the red flags go up when he asked for pictures of her limb and sockets. For one, she has those pictures up already and for two, all you have to do is type those things into any old search engine to find tons of results. Thus, she pointed him to the pics which are already available - but he said they aren't good enough. She ignored him for awhile until this:

So I guess someone else hacked into his guy's computer to ask for stump pics and now he happens to be asking the same person about life as an amputee. 

So, first you ask for stump pics for your "friend" and then you ask questions about life as an amputee "for the first time" and now you're part of an organization that needs videos about how to do things without a prosthesis. Uh huh.

My friend told me about Rashique, so I sent him a friend request. After asking me if I was an amputee and if I was single, we talked about this:

I'll tell you what we actually feel. 

We don't like it when people lie to us in order to try to convince us to send stump pics to people, especially when people pretend those pics are for a noble cause.

Karin Engel: most obvious fake ever

Here is the Facebook profile of Karin Engel.

There are 400% more girls without arms on Facebook than there are in real life. (statistics made up by me) Here's her profile pic up close!

That lady sure has well built traps, considering she has no arms to make them strong. Also she seems to have bilateral humeral heads, which is weird. Hey, what's that long shadow running down her left side?

Finally, my anatomy classes are paying off.

Yup. 

This is probably the worst fake profile I've ever seen.

Blake Medellin is impersonating german author Florian Sitzmann

Blake Medellin (https://www.facebook.com/blake.medellin.7?fref=ts) has a profile which screams "fake" to me. So I decided to check.

So, "Blake" apparently is a gentleman with no legs. What's that book you're holding, "Blake"?

Could it be this one by German Author Florian Sitzmann?

Yup, sure is. 

So maybe "Blake" just really likes Florian, since neither of them have legs.

Or maybe these pictures are Florian.

Yep. All of these pictures are of Florian Sitzmann, who definitely isn't from Connecticut/Colorado.

I'll definitely be letting Florian know that you're such a huge fan of his that you decided to impersonate him, "Blake".

Kaitlyn Apfelbaum is a faker

My friend Rachelle recently discovered her picture was being used by a person on Facebook using the name "Kaitlyn Apfelbaum"

When Rachelle tried to report "Kaitlyn" as impersonating her, Facebook denied her request. 

Here is a link to an article about Rachelle in which the stolen photo was featured. 

Stop using my friend's picture as your own. While you're at it, stop using anyone else's picture as your own. Thanks.
