As a kid in the 90s my folks took me to the short lived Chicago jekyll and hyde club. I was ENAMORED with Dreadmina the Vampire but I couldn't get too close to her, I just remember she was talking with light up red eyes, had big wings (?) And that the staff who talked to my table reassured me that she was a vampire who would not hurt me. I have been on a journey to see if I can find video of her ever since, I think she told vampire puns but I have no idea.
I LOVED this club when I went as an adult in NYC 2014, I went twice to eat there on my trip and the mermaid animatronic they had, the rhino and elephant talking heads, the skeleton guys, I adored them. Unfortunately both visits when I asked if they had Dreadmina, she was in a special room that was either rented out or closed or something, so I wasn't able to see her at all. (An employee even tried to ask if they could take me to see her which was so sweet! But no luck.)
This reddit post was the most helpful I've found, which even shows where she ended up, but in that video she is either broken or turned off. No motion or audio.
Aside from This tiktok i screenshotted and a commercial on YouTube that both don't show her audio, I can't find anything. Anyone have the vampire animatronic on video? Hell, even just better photos of her? or is her reflection lost forever? ❤️
