Tainted Dreams || Dream!AU || Before

Loki shimmered into his infant daughters room silently. He often came in to visit his children in the night, away from the world, just him and them. He would hold his daughter and sing her tales of his youth, playing with his magic to see her smile. He sat down in the chair near Lohi's crib as she slept and watched her. Placing his hand on his abdomen when he felt his unborn child move within him. Soon would his youngest child join the rest of its siblings out in the world. Leaning his head back he closed his eyes, feeling more tired than usual. He let his magic flow, filling the room and sealing it off from any threats, and making it so it would alert him if Darcy came in. 

As he drifted off to sleep the unborn babe started to stir more, feeling out and messing with the magic that she felt flowing into her veins. She began to play with this new sensation, letting it build and seeing what she could do with it. The magic allowed the unborn babe to expand her perception, and she reached out to the minds of the others in the house. She began to focus on the mind of the other that she felt in her blood that she knew, the woman that she would soon learn was her father.
