I've done it. I officially completed 100% of Dream Hopper, after a month of playing it every day straight.

I promise this is the last time I will talk about this game, since some people thought I was a "corporate sellout" promoting this game as excitedly as I was, and saying "silence, brand". Silly me, I forgot that some people think it's "cringe" to genuinely enjoy things.

I am excited to know that they're planning future updates to the game. More dream zones, more Hopper characters, who knows what else? I still really recommend the game, cuz it's a fun and genuinely relaxing experience to play 10mins at a time.

My other two have a friend now! I like drawing these. It helps me test body types on simple silhouette type characters, and lets me test how to draw effects.

Inktober 2022: Day 20, Dream I really have love this game called Dream Hopper. It has such an unusual style and has honestly had an effect on my art It creates the illusion of images through negative space and i love it a lot

I don't usually do this, but the other day I saw this random video about "the best mobile games you've never played", and one of those games *actually* turned out to be one of my favorite things ever! So I've gotta tell people about it. XD

It's a simple game with easy gameplay and a very casual premise. You're a glowy dream-hopping ball, and you trace around shapes that slowly appear and make up a picture, or "dream".

Everything about the execution of this concept is absolute perfection! The graphics, the music, the randomized dream worlds, the collectible variety of different characters you can win in a gacha game and play with if you choose!

I love my party/team of little hopper ball guys so much!!! :D Jolly and Delight are totally Joyce coded, they're my absolute favorites! Followed by Jive and Groove, cuz they're musically coded, but come on, Bubble, Hip, Hex and Reminisce have such cute faces and awesome unique tail patterns! And omg, have you ever seen a more smug-looking face? XD There's so much personality in these character designs, and they're just little comets!

Seriously, when the obligatory "would you rate our game" popup appeared, I actually gave 5 stars and left a quick positive review. Normally I'd ignore those messages, cuz who cares what I think about a dumb mobile game I'm just killing time with? But I've been going nuts over this game! Another thing I love is that it's like Candy Crush, and limits you to a handful of plays and lots of cool-off time, so you're always wishing you could play more! XD

I've already come this far on a four day streak! I keep having to repeat levels a lot now, but I feel like there's plenty more dream worlds and Hoppers for me to uncover! 😁

This game is just so freaking wholesome, and you know how much I adore wholesome things! I gotta spread word of this dreamy app so more people can play it and experience a little joy... and collect Hoppers with me! ^_~

I, for some reason, held off posting this one. I think I got annoyed about tagging things. I love bubble! She's so cute! Also made a tutorial for how I make these (someone asked). I'll post it tomorrow.

I decided to add some curls below her cloak, and made her a bit thicker. My original vision for her was this body type, but I wasn't the best at portraying it. Anyways. Also featuring an updated art tag.
