I took a chance and ordered a raw cut gem for my pendulum!

Once I have that, I can finalize the rest of the measurements I need for the design to get that moving along!

I found your blog while browsing the dream magic tag since I'm starting to try to connect with others and as someone whose earlier memories revolve around magical girl anime, I fell in love with your blog!

I haven’t noticed anything directly related yet but I’m always on the lookout! As someone who struggles with insomnia and staying asleep, my dream work is not as consistent as I’d like it to be.

It’s doubly frustrating since I used to be pretty proficient with lucid dreaming and I had more prophetic dreams when I was younger!

I have a feeling my subconscious (?) or whatever has been giving me these drips of information gave me that glimpse of my staff to keep me motivated on my personal work. I’ve been so focused on my EMT training, volunteering, and community building that I haven’t had a lot of time to focus on my own personal mythology, magical worldbuilding, and stuff like that. There’s still a lot I haven’t pieced together about my previous lives or incarnations and my partner and I still have a lot to do in terms of understanding how that cycle works.

I know my next step is to complete the pendulum form of my Dream Key, which is definitely testing my design and jewelry making skills! Once that is done, more details about my staff will probably be revealed.

Another strange Dream Key experience to document!

On our way to the monthly fire department meeting last night at our satellite station, my Dream Key felt like it was violently vibrating for a second or two when passing the main station. It was so fast and I didn’t have enough time to really react and see what it could possibly be alerting me of! I did try to see if I could replicate the sensation or if it was just bumping into the seatbelt a weird way but I didn’t feel that same vibration again.

I have some theories as to what it could be but I’ll have to take note if it happens again and try to discern if there is a pattern.

I’m not really sure what to make of this but I thought it was worth documenting:

Yesterday evening I was unwinding from the long drive I took to visit a friend, the chain for my Dream Key snapped in half when I sneezed! It didn’t break at a jump ring or something like that but right in the middle of the sterling silver chain—I’ve never had anything like that happen before!

I already mended that chain once, right when my pendant was completed because I managed to disfigure the chain end when getting the pendant on… but this seems like a sure sign that the chain was too fragile to carry the magic of the key. I was able to get to a craft store today and swapped out the sterling silver chain for a silver-plated iron one. Hopefully this is a more durable option because I really do need to spend more time communing with it!
