You know, over time I'm realising I should just be more insane online and really not care what people think (that's hard)
So anyway, more self indulgent AUs!

For a while now I've been meaning to rework my Heartstrings AU due to how toxic it is, so I made Dreambound, the true self-indulgent AU. Since I can’t have Flowey immediately give up all his war crimes for a dragon he just met, I made them connect in dreams instead :) and he thinks it wasn't real until he meets them :) Yes, they are real you fool >:)
And like usual I have no idea how the barrier will be broken without Asriel being obsessed with Chara until the end of Frisk's journey, but hey, it's fine, I don't need to worry about.
Anyway, I like to change Taru’s design every time I make a new AU so it's easier to differentiate between main Taru and AU Taru. So, since this was meant to replace Heartstrings before I chose the name Dreambound, I gave Taru a heart theme.
Fun fact: I used to despise hearts, now I love adding hearts everywhere (romance has truly ruined me smh) I also used to really dislike the colour pink, now I'm fine with and despise the colour blue lmao
I also made a SOUL design for Taru
Upside down like a monster soul, perseverance and bravery are mixed here and we have all the stars in the middle for their cosmic nature. This is very important since Flowey hasn't slept in probably a few years or so (nightmares and all), so who Taru is doesn't cross his mind at first because he hasn't seen them in his dreams in quite a while, plus his resets has probably made his memory a little fuzzy. So, it's SOUL time. Flowey doesn't usually go after monster souls, but since this seemingly monster type of creature isn't from the Underground, he might as well see what's going on. Cue flashbacks because strong soul aura or something and now we let chaos begin.
So yeah, Dreambound is currently: Dream dragon shows up and Flowey struggles with emotions he didn't know he had and it somehow got worse!
Guess I need to make up an AU shipname, too... I'll go with DreamingPetals for now I guess.
