Accepted! Please make Kaelyn's account.
Kaelyn grew up surrounded by a loving and supportive family. She was the youngest child of four, being from a large family meant they were always struggling to get by, little food, warmth and clothes. Whenever they managed to get anything new she treasured it, when there was food on the table her oldest brother Jason would go with less so she wasn't hungry. They protected her, kept her safe, never put her name in more than what was needed.
Growing up she saw her brothers getting into fights, and each time she was there to clean them up. Due to this her knowledge of fighting is limited but cleaning wounds and knowing how from what is around her is vast. She doesn't view it as much but at least she has something.
Sample para (IC, 2 paragraphs minimum):
The day of the reaping came and Kaelyn couldn't shake the nerves she was feeling. Her name would just be one tiny slip of paper hidden from all the rest, the odds of her being picked are slim. Still she couldn't shake the nerves, her mind constantly going through the what if, what if, what if.
She was stood in place, hands behind her back to stop the cameras from shaking. Away from the safety of her brothers she felt more alone. Their member of the Capitol stood on stage and she closed her eyes. She couldn't face her. Not now. Not when her life hung in the balance.
"Kaelyn Ashley!"
Kaelyn's head snapped forward, her eyes wide, a silent no on the tip of her tongue. The other children around her moved out of her way making it obvious where she was standing. With one last glance over her shoulder she caught a glimpse of her brother Jason being held back. There was nothing he could do. Nothing any of them could do.
She could. She could fight. She could try. She could make it home. Back to her family, back to safety, back to Jason.
