Captain’s Cove Amusement Park has spared no expense restoring its famous but long-defunct ride, the Night Rocket, and plans to reopen the ride on its 60th anniversary. And what better way to celebrate than with a classic science fiction film festival? A popular sci-fi aficionado, none other than Jamila El Dine, has been tapped to curate the festival. Meanwhile, crews led by Ingrid Corey are working around the clock to get the Night Rocket ready in time. But Captain’s Cove just can’t catch a break. Overnight workers have been quitting in terror without explanation, stalling the grand opening. Mysterious lights appear in the sky over the park almost nightly. And strange messages have been burned on rooftops in hieroglyphs no one can identify. Cue Nancy Drew, posing as a new hire. With the help of Ingrid and Jamila, she must get the park back on track and ensure that the Night Rocket flies once again. UFOs plaguing a space-themed event must be a stunt... but why?
