The colors of the wine colorway are quite unique. There are several hues of red that clash together. Especially the solid color dark wine on the sleeves and collar is distracting next to the background color of the print and the sax blue ribbon is quite a surprising choice.
How would I fix it?
Editing the colors helps a lot. As the print has a lot going on already I don’t think it needs lots of different colors to look nice. I thought the scallop edge on top of the bustier area doesn’t really do anything useful so I removed it. I experimented a bit and added a piece of solid fabric on the hem to calm down the look. It looked too empty so I also added some pearls and bows.
