DEUKAE REACTION TO THEIR GF BEING CUTE WHEN THEY'RE SLEEPY

and this will be the last post for this year so i hope all of you a happy new year (or if midnight has already passed, happy 2022) and i’m grateful for all of you, really! i’m glad you guys like my writing even though im definitely not the best or most consistent 😭

enough with my rambling, enjoy!

MINJI

the first time you act cute when you’re sleepy, minji is definitely surprised. you rarely act cute when you’re fully awake, so it’s definitely a pleasant surprise. when you whine and rub your eyes, minji pouts and looks at you with stars in her eyes.

minji absolutely loves it when you act cute so she takes advantage of your sleepy state to tease and fuss over you because you wouldn’t normally let her do that. if you get tired enough that you fall asleep on the couch, she will carry you to bed and tuck you in.

“are you tired, baby? YOU'RE SO CUTE!”

BORA

bora tries not to let it affect her. she really tries but the second you even look at her, she smiles and blushes like crazy. she will definitely squeal over everything you do so prepare some earplugs.

when you finally cuddle up next to her, she goes silent, trying not to scream right in your ear. when you yawn or burrow your face into the crook of her neck, she pouts and rubs your back, which eventually pushes you into a deep sleep in her arms.

“*deep breath* don’t scream don’t scream- she’s so cute i can’t do this.”

SIYEON

siyeon would try to take care of you. that doesn’t mean she doesn’t freak out over you playing with her sweater because she does! she just tries to make sure that you’re comfortable and once you’re settled down in bed, blankets wrapped around you, she joins you so you can cuddle.

when you’re sleepy, you like to play with siyeon’s hands or her sweater and she loves it a lot. like A LOT. while cuddling, you nuzzle your head into siyeon’s chest and make these little content noises. it makes her feel really happy that you feel safe and comfortable with her.

“you want a blanket, love? some extra pillows?”

HANDONG

at first, handong would be reading a book or just scrolling through her social media. but when you get sleepy, you want attention from her. she always gives you a look when you pull down her phone so she’ll pay attention to you.

when you get sleepy, and in general to be honest, you like when handong rubs your stomach. it soothes you and handong likes the little giggles you let out when she does it. whenever you look at you, she smiles and kisses your cheek so you blush.

“okay, i’ll pay attention to you. you’re getting sleepy, huh?”

YOOHYEON

yoohyeon is always on her phone playing games so it’s no surprise that when you get sleepy, you have to fight for her attention. it isn’t that hard because man, she is whipped for you. whenever you start mumbling or clinging to her, she knows you’re getting sleepy.

you like to hold hands when you get tired and she absolutely loves it. you also whine at her for kisses and she melts everytime. and okay, maybe you should be getting to bed, but you’re just so cute! and who is she to deny your request for kisses?

“yoohyeon! give me kisses!” “of course, baby!”

YUBIN

yubin doesn’t really show that she’s affected by your cuteness but she is definitely screaming in her head about it. she has to take deep breaths every time you look at her with your puppy dog eyes. she makes sure to tuck you in with all the blankets on top of you. she just wants to make sure you’re comfortable.

but when you whine and whisper that you want her in the bed next to you, she can’t say no. your pouts are her weakness and she would feel bad if she said no. she always like to take care of you when you feel tired because you’re just so cute.

“yubin… come cuddle…” “okay, i’ll be there in a second, love.”

GAHYEON

gahyeon is very loud with her love of your sleepy state. she tries not to scream and squeal every time you do something cute, but she just can’t help it. even when she looks at you, she smiles and calls you cute.

she likes to baby you even though you’re older than her but you let her. you secretly liked being babied and doted on but you’ll never tell her that. you like to grab at her shirt so you can be as close to her as humanly possible and she LOVES it. a whole lot!

you hum, nodding your head.

minji sits on your bed, looking at you with a fond look in her eyes.

both of you had crushes on each other. but both of you were also stupid enough to not notice. you and minji heaved longing sighs while staring at each other often, not knowing that you both reciprocated each other’s feelings.

it’s sad, really.

you finished snapping on your necklace, adjusting it while glancing in the mirror. to be completely honest, you look good.

you didn’t intend to dress up for anyone but you secretly wanted to impress minji. the party you’re going to is casual so you couldn’t put on your fanciest dress and heels, but you found a way around that.

even minji had dressed up a little bit, in a button up shirt tucked into her gray jeans.

you both looked surprisingly good together. like a couple.

you cleared your throat, dismissing that thought. although, that would be nice…

you couldn’t think about that right now. especially not with minji staring at you like that.

“what?” you asked, shyly giggling.

“huh?” minji blinked, looking around.

“you were looking at me…”

“oh. well, you’re very pretty…” minji muttered, her cheeks tinting a bright red.

your eyes widened and you whipped back, facing away from her so she couldn’t see the smile forming on your lips.

minji zoned out looking at you. that had to mean something… right?

agh, don’t get your hopes up.

“anyway!” minji shouted, rocketing up off your bed.

she held out her hand, waiting for you to hold it.

“let’s go.”

minji sighed, turning off the car. she quickly hopped out of the car, rounding over to the passenger side to open your door. she held out her hand with a smile.

you giggled, whispering, “maybe chivalry isn’t dead.”

minji beamed, pulling you up out of the car, “i’ll be your gentlewoman!”

you smiled, resting your head on her shoulder as her arm snaked around your waist. when you were all tangled up together, you both started walking towards the party.

minji knocked on the door and seconds later, a face peeked out.

“siyeon!” you yelled, smiling.

“ah! you’re here!” siyeon said, opening the front door all the way.

“of course, you know we wouldn’t miss it, singnie!” minji said, a fond smile on her face.

“we’ll come in, everybody else is already!”

you both shuffled into the house, detaching from each other so you could give the rest of the girls hugs.

you sighed, plopping onto the couch next to yoohyeon.

she squealed, saying, “oh you look really cute! right, minji?”

yoohyeon looked over at minji, a smirk on her lips and her eyebrows moving up and down. minji just looked confused.

“uh… yeah? she looks great.” minji said, unsure.

you blushed, embarrassed that yoohyeon tried to get minji to flirt with you.

“ah, yoohyeon, come here!” siyeon called out.

yoohyeon looked confused for second, until she got a look of understanding on her face. she walked up to siyeon, sitting next to her, almost on her really, and started whispering to her.

minji scooted closer to you, filling in the empty space that yoohyeon once occupied. you both looked at each other, confused. what was so secretive that they couldn’t talk about it out loud?

you were all very good friends and never shared any secrets. it made you curious.

siyeon got up off the floor, smiling at a giggling yoohyeon.

now that makes you even more curious. but before you had time to think about anything, siyeon was already talking.

“hey minji, can you help me with something really quick?”

minji made a noise of approval, nodding her head and quickly following siyeon.

time passed fairly slowly. every time you looked at your phone, only 30 seconds had passed…

after six minutes had passed, you started to get worried. what was taking them so long? what if they got hurt? oh god…

but before you could voice your concerns, yoohyeon grabbed your arms, pulling you up off the couch.

“actually, i need your help too!” she shouted.

“uh… okay?” you muttered.

she quickly, and also very aggressively, dragged you to siyeon’s room. what does she need from here?

as she opens the door, you see a very confused minji sitting on siyeon’s bed and siyeon standing guard next to the door.

as soon as yoohyeon and siyeon lock eyes, they spring into action. yoohyeon roughly shoved you into the room and they both zoomed out of there, you and minji were too shocked to even move.

you turn around, turning the doorknob. you almost cried when it wouldn’t budge.

they really locked us in here…

“fuck…” you mutter, resting your head on the door.

you didn’t hear minji creeping up behind you but you did feel her finger tapping your shoulder. when you turned around, minji had her hands clasped in front of her. her face was blooming a deep red.

you looked at her, confused, until she pointed up above your heads. you slowly looked up and almost screamed.

a mistletoe.

“so…” minji sighed.

“we gotta kiss, right?” you asked.

minji sputtered, not expecting you to say that.

“w- what?”

“well, there’s a mistletoe and… the door’s locked.” you said, smiling slightly.

you didn’t think minji’s face could get more red, but somehow, it did.

you gulped as she moved in closer. you could feel your own cheeks start to heat up very quickly.

her hands gently cupped your face, her thumb caressing your cheekbone.

“you’re really beautiful…” she whispered, in awe.

you nervously giggled, averting your eyes.

you were about to look up into her eyes again when she pulled you in, her lips making contact with yours.

fireworks immediately exploded. minji’s lips are so soft…

all the stolen glances and shy smiles made sense. she likes you too.

just knowing that your feelings are reciprocated made you feel 1,000 times better.

you gripped at minji’s waist until you ran out of air, resting your forehead against hers. she beamed at you, your cheeks still resting in her hands.

“you… are so beautiful.” she whispered.

and you laughed. a full blown laugh. you were so happy.

you circled your arms around her neck, burying your face into the crook of her neck.

just standing there, existing with your favorite person in the world.

LATE GAME NIGHTS

“hey y/n, we’re home!”

the apartment was strangely quiet. yubin stood in the doorway, bags of groceries in her hands. yoohyeon ventured farther out into the living room, calling out your name again.

“y/n, where are you, baby?” she yelled.

both women heard a distant groan in your shared bedroom. yubin quickly set down the groceries and locked the front door while yoohyeon ran into the room, checking to see if you were okay.

the sight in front of her made her feel bad, honestly. you were bundled up in the sheets, a box of tissues by your side. your nose was bright red, resembling rudolph.

“ah… hi yooh…” you weakly said.

yoohyeon gasped, “baby! are you okay?”

yubin entered the room as sniffled, your hand reaching for the box of tissues.

you chuckled, “ah, funny story actually… in the two hours you guys were gone, i managed to get sick.”

yubin quickly walked to the bed and sat down on the edge as you blew your nose. her hand reached up to touch your forehead, relieved to find out you weren’t burning up.

“it’s probably just a sinus infection, love.” she said, reassuring you.

hearing that you weren’t contagious, yoohyeon scrambled onto the bed, wrapping her arms around you. she quickly fussed over you, being dramatic to make you laugh.

she grabbed your face and placed a kiss on your lips. you squealed, resting your head on her chest.

“do you guys… wanna play some games?” you asked, clutching at yoohyeon’s shirt.

“can we play super smash bros?” yoohyeon asked, smiling.

“of course, yooh.”

“yes!” she exclaimed and both you and yubin laughed.

yubin hopped off the bed and said, “i’ll get everything set up. you guys can just hang out until i’m done.”

before she walked out the door, yoohyeon yelled, “can you set out some snacks?”

yubin’s laugh echoed through the apartment as she walked towards the kitchen, “of course, love.”

yoohyeon’s attention was now fully on you.

“how are you feeling, baby?” she asked.

“better, now that my girlfriends are here.” you winked cheesily.

yoohyeon jokingly gagged, her hand hitting your shoulder. you smiled up at her, extremely happy. you may be sick, but at least you weren’t alone.

“do you wanna change into pajamas, yooh?”

she pouted, “yeah but… i don’t wanna leave you alone!”

you laughed and exclaimed, “i’m right here! i’ll be fine. i’ll be in your line of sight the whole time, i promise!”

she seemed satisfied with your answer and got out of bed, quickly rifling through the drawer. you very quickly noticed that she wasn’t searching through her own drawer, but yours.

you smiled, getting a giddy feeling just because she wanted to wear your clothes.

as soon as she was done changing, yubin poked her head into the room.

“you’re not gonna change?”

she looked at both of you, looking pretty comfortable in your pajamas.

“mmm nah, i’m okay.” she said, as she walked over to you and pulled you into a hug.

you squealed and laughed as she picked you up out of the bed. your legs circled around her waist as she carried you to the living room, gently placing you on the couch.

“wow, so prince-like!” yoohyeon exclaimed.

yubin giggled and sat down next to you on the couch, handing you one of the wii controllers.

“yoohyeon!” yubin yells as yoohyeon jumps on the couch, almost knocking over all the snacks.

“oops, sorry!” yoohyeon giggled.

yubin sighed and pecked yoohyeon’s lips, showing her she wasn’t really mad.

“i love you guys!” yoohyeon said, smiling.

“i love you too!” you exclaimed, fondly staring at your girlfriends.

“me too.” yubin quietly said.

you both knew yubin expressed her feelings differently so you were satisfied with what she said. you quickly climbed into her lap as the game started, effectively blocking her view.

“ah wha- hey! isn’t this cheating! yoohyeon!”

you giggled, not budging as she tried to push you off of her, not paying attention to the game.

“geez, fine!” you exclaimed, rolling your eyes jokingly.

you plopped onto the couch beside her, tucking yourself into her side. yoohyeon glanced over at you and copied your idea, nudging herself under yubin’s arm.

yubin sighed, but you both knew she secretly loved the attention.

as the three of you continued playing, you forgot that you ever felt sick in the first place. yoohyeon and yubin are the only medicine you’ll ever need.

and sure, your relationship may not be “normal” but being normal is boring.

you continued to play into the night, definitely disturbing your neighbors.

“wait no, i wanted to be mario!”

“YOOHYEON. oh god…”

your girlfriends were a little crazy, but so were you… all three of you fit perfectly together. you smiled at them, fondly watching as they fought over what map to play on next.

you looked in the mirror and sighed. this stupid dress still didn’t fit. you had tried and tried but it just wouldn’t work out… you poked at the fat of your stomach, a frown etched deep on your face. you were supposed to be getting ready for a date with minji but your insecurities were getting in the way once again. minji is always so skinny so why can’t you be too? of course it wasn’t her fault but you always wondered why she decided to date you of all people.

the door to the bathroom opened and minji poked her head into the doorway. she gasped and quickly slipped into the room seeing the look on your face. she was quick to reassure you that you’re beautiful. to her, just because you’re not skinny doesn’t mean you're less beautiful to her.

“hey, you’re my girlfriend. i’ll always love you! your size does not factor into that, i promise.”

bora

you always thought your cellulitis was ugly. it was splotchy and red and you couldn’t hide it. people always looked at it weird… it just made you feel worse. over time, bora seemed to notice. there was no way she couldn’t. you always went out of your way to hide it, although having a difficult time because it was in a very obvious place.

“hey, look… it’s not ugly to me, okay? it’s part of you and it doesn’t bother me.”

she always made sure to tell you that you still looked beautiful and whoever looked at you weird would get beat up. by her, of course. she does her best to make you laugh and you always appreciate it.

sometimes you wish your chest was smaller. it’s a pain, really. in more ways than one too. your breasts give you back pain and they’re just hard to deal with in general. whenever you go out, people stare and it makes you feel weird. are they judging or sexualizing you? you don’t know which one is worse…

siyeon is quick to notice. she always likes to tell you that your breasts are comfortable. they’re like pillows! and honestly, it makes you feel a lot better.

this fitting wasn’t going as well as you imagined… you and handong were going to a wedding in a few days so you both needed dresses. the problem is that they don’t have your size. as you stand there, you begin to feel worse about yourself and your appearance. were you really that big?

handong walks over to you and grabs your hand. you turn to her and weakly smile. she tells you she never would have come here if she knew they didn’t have larger sizes. not everyone had to be a stick and that was okay. she didn’t want to make you feel bad about yourself… she just wanted you to be happy and that was all.

the height difference between you and yoohyeon wasn’t that large but man, it felt huge to you. you didn’t like being so short. people automatically looked down on you. men always thought of you as inferior. model companies wouldn’t even consider you because you were too short…

“hey! you can be my model!”

but not yoohyeon. yoohyeon always praised you and told you that you are perfect just the way you are. she likes to tell you that you fit perfectly in that little space in the crook of her neck.

yubin liked to credit herself with the fact that she can figure out when you’re feeling bad so she can cheer you up. and you being insecure about your chest size isn’t any different. whenever you feel insecure, she likes to let you talk and let your frustrations. sometimes she likes to crack jokes to make you feel better.

“hey, my hands are big for a reason… if you know what i mean.”

she never fails to make you feel better and sometimes she shares her own insecurities. after all, no one is perfect…

gahyeon

you groaned, searching through your drawer for concealer that wasn’t there. you swore you had bought a new bottle a week ago…

gahyeon entered the room, worried about why you were groaning. she found you standing in the middle of the room, staring at your leg. she quickly walked up to you, directly your line of sight to her. she offered her own bottle of concealer, knowing it wasn’t the right shade, but she wanted to help in any way she could. when you said you would rather not do anything to it, she smiled.

“i’m glad you’re getting more comfortable! if anyone stares, i’ll go over and beat them up! no one makes my girlfriend feel bad and gets away with it!”
