School got in the way last time I tried. Plus a lot of other shit in my life, involving my dad getting cancer. I'm considering trying again this year, but I'm kind of losing faith in myself and my writing.

And that's my biggest problem with it. Go write your novel now. Don't worry about finishing it in a month or any of that other nonsense. Shit will always get in the way. Deal with the shit, keep moving the next day. DON'T STOP MOVING.

an embarrassing story: once someone gave me about five or so four-leafed clovers & I was ecstatic, I was the golden eternity. I put them in the pocket of my jacket & prepared for the best of lives but I think they were lost in a dance ? that's sort of how it goes for me . . . I'm terrible at not losing things, especially leaves & flowers, & I'm very very sorry

a recent dream: I followed a blind witch to her cave & saw the secrets hidden there - I concealed myself until her exit, then took as many as I could carry to hide in another cave of my own. upon returning home, however, she was waiting for me & commanded me to choose between pomegranates & centipedes. I refused so she allowed me to leave but after I did so, she set the house alight, burning everyone & everything left inside into ashes

something I've done that I'm ashamed of: I broke a string on my guitar the other day due to absently increasing the tension . . . it was an accident but that's no justification of course, it was still a crime. somedays I am a real redcap !! I think it's probably my nature
