Boy is a doctor at NINETEEN, I honestly have no idea what his bedside manner is.

But to his s/o?

I believe that Kai would mother hen them.

Initially, he might mutter complaints about “how did you even end up like this” or “jeez, shouldn’t you be more careful with yourself?

But really, he’s just worried about whatever wound or illness you’ve sustained this time.

He’d probably take the day off if he could, so that he’s able to stay by your side the whole day as you recuperate, holding your hand in his as he monitors your condition.

Whatever you need, he’ll go get it for you, the sky’s the limit. Anything, really, to make you feel more comfortable in your situation.

But that doesn't mean he’ll let you skip your medications just because you don’t like taking them! He’ll be firm with you, but promise that he’ll make your favorite dish for dinner if you behave.

And of course, he can’t resist pinching your cheeks as he grins, loving the indignant way you glare at him.

“You only have one body, you know. I can heal it to the best I can, but I don’t like seeing you in pain. So…take care of yourself too, m’kay?”
