We sat under the tree beside the lake, where we usually meet up. I was leaning against his chest while he was leaning against the tree. We knew this would be the last time we get to see each other. Everyone had realised what was happening and wanted to send Jungsu away if we didn't stop talking and interacting. They wanted us to ignore each other completly, which i find very unfair. We both know that even if we don't interact at all they still will send him away to work at another kingdom. He has always proved to be a loyal guard so no one would reject such a fine offer.
"What if we rewrite the stars?" he asked. I looked at him to see if he was joking, but he was dead serious. "No one can say what we get to be."
That's one thing i always adored about Jungsu, he always tried to find some type of answer even when it was impossible.
"No one can rewrite the stars." i replied
"You know i want you, its not a secret i try to hide." he said, with a glint of hope in his voice. I sat up and faced him directly.
"My hands are tied." i replied. There was no way we would ever work out.
He took my hand in his and said "I know you want me, so dont say our hands are tied!"
"Who can stop me if i decide you're my destiny?" he continued his little speech.
We watched each other, our eyes saying more than our mouths. I thought about all the possibilities. I really don't want to run away but if there is no other option i wouldn't mind. Maybe we can live somewhere outside in a little cottage, where no one can find us, of course. On the other hand, my mother may actually give him a chance... and she has a chance of convincing father. Jungsu is a trusted guard so its not impossible. Thats all it took.
