It wasn’t his intention to sit and be so deeply concentrated, at the little dining table, looking over numbers on his laptop. The job came suddenly, and he had a deadline to withhold. And it was really good money. He had just forgotten that Richard came over that evening. Alden had apologised many times, and just asked for an hour or two to finished up the first file of numbers. Though, he hadn’t really fazed how long he had actually been working.
When hitting the save button, and closing down the laptop, he turned around in his chair to see if the other man was still alive. “...Oh.” it slipped from his lip and broke the silence in the living-room. The slow breathing from Richard’s chest had Alden realise that he was sleeping. Should he wake him up? He had never been in this scenario with him before. What if he ended up getting zapped while trying to wake him up? Unintentionally of course. His friend wouldn’t hurt him.
“Richard?...” he called from his chair.
