(I don't know the characters yet, but I am into Ace attorney and saw lots of Enoch Drebber in you blog :D He is so handsome!)

LMAOO im glad to be the drebber propagandist in your dash!! and FIRST OF ALL i recommend to play tgaa in general so much, it’s my favourite aa game and one of my favourite games of all times. i promise it will be really good!

that drebber fellow in question is actually full of spoilers (which were surely in my blog already bc i'm always forgetting to tag things properly 😭) but i'll try not to spill the beans + even knowing spoilers i'm sure this game will still find the way to surprise (as it was with me).

i did the bingo itself *here* but it doesn’t mean i’ll stop ramble. not at all. i love these dudes. dude. i mean that's a selfcest ship so- why have only one handsome man when you can have two i mean.........

SO. the main point of this ship is that it's literally the visual self-reflection. it’s even really hard for me to imagine it being more real and physical because of how much this psychological/therapeutic? aspect means to this ship.

a giant part of drebber‘s character is in the conflict with his past - and that’s exactly what this ship represents literally. it’s denial of the past at all in form of the symbolic kill of his past self and the rebirth in the new body and image. it’s anger - on himself current and on himself from the past - for everything that happened, and taking out all of these emotions on him(self). it’s an attempt to come it terms with his past while not really changing anything on the deeper level and self-deception. it’s depression and unwillingness to do anything at all. and in the end of this weird relationship i see acceptance of the fact that past cannot be fixed or changed, and parting - which is at the same time reunion and finally becoming whole again.

i love how almost or every at all possible dynamic can work well with them - the range of internal conflict is ironically wider than interpersonal. i love how they are violent and tender at the same time. they are the perfect opposites in everything, even in their looks - and this connect them even more. i love them him thim!!!!!!

okay brief explanation since i post this rambling with tags: so enoch drebber has two designs for his young and present selves and also has a ton of unresolved traumas connected with his past, as well as longing and nostalgia for it? good, now let’s make them kiss. that’s drebbcest for you. and i love this ship more than anything.

about question marks: well i mean selfcests do count as crackships probably? idk even so for me this thing is already so elaborate i can’t call it a crackship. it works. i ship them because of everything canon gave me but they can’t exist in canon for the obvious reasons. imo they do have a ton of romantic and sexual tension but it’s just something too normal for them to have (not completely unwanted tho, not at all, their fluff is what‘s making me want to live), better let them do some batshit insane things with each other. because of which exactly this pairing may very well count as something wrong. BUT ITS JUST NECESSARY FOR THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, even violent aspects make sense. they do. it works. anger is just a step on the way to the acceptance. honestly i really like how this ship is basically that „love fixes all“ trope but since it’s an abstraction and dance around the topic of self-reflection it actually worrrrks so well……
