PAX weekend is upon us, and unfortunately I’m not able to make it this year. There’s a financial component to it, but the fact of the matter is that it’s simply too risky for me with my anxiety being where it is (standing on my chest, wailing on me). Still, as much as I’m performing my due diligence re: self care it’s frustrating to me that this illness is robbing me of experiences and activities that I really value. I hate that. And I want to challenge that. (Just a little, nothing reckless or ill-advised.)

So as a way of taking care of myself by keeping busy and pushing personal boundaries I’m announcing an artistic attempt I will be making starting this Thursday, Aug 31.

One week of daily dregs pages.

I’ve been sleeping kinda crappy so the broadcast times are gonna be pretty loose, but figure around middays PST. And I’m not putting myself on the hook too hard for these because I need to stay kind to myself, but doing what I love may be just that anyway. If I’m honest, I don’t know for sure if I can do this, but I want to try. I hope you’ll join me as I continue trying to work through this.
