Looking for an indie singer-songwriter track to be the background to your indie romantic comedy film? Look no farther and take a listen to DRENCH FRIES’ newest track “Fruit bat” - from the moment I pressed play, I could already imagine a film like Juno using this in the soundtrack. I love that the percussions don’t kick in until about halfway through the track but it really separates the song into two sections that give it a nice kick. The vocals have that classic lo-fi mellow sound but it works well with the overall vibe.
